Definitely a novel worth reading! Not a lot of chapters yet, but you can already tell that this is going to be a good one. Of course it's good, it's written by HideousGrain who never disappoints! Can't wait for more chapters to be uploaded!

Wow, one of the better novels in all of WN most recent picks. It's a 'Transmigrated with a System' story but the focus on the system is very minor, so far I think there's been less than 200 words regarding the system. The type of system is also one that's entirely hands off, allowing the MC to actually have a life and further the plot without referring to it every three paragraphs. As for the MC, we finally get an intelligent, down to earth character that actually thinks before he acts rather than arrogantly throwing his ill-gotten power around and stomping on everyone. The MC plays the part of a wastrel third son of the powerful prime minister but does it in such a way that the readers dont just hate his guts and want to punch him in the face. As for the side characters, they actually show some depth and ambiguity. His father is intelligent, highly capable and kind hearted, but he purposefully fosters an image as a cold hearted and greedy official so as to not threaten the emperor and bring trouble on his clan. So much different than those of similar stories that will already be planning rebellion within the first 5 chapters rather than just moderating their actions.The Emperor is appropriately mysterious, being more than the arrogant, almighty figure we see in these novels. Even 39 chapters in I still cant say how much he knows, or how he really feels towards the MC and his dad.The female lead isnt the Mary Sue type I was expecting either. Yes she's a talented Martial artist and a competent general despite her young age, but those can all be expected given that her father is a great general and raised her in that manner. Despite this, she also shows some flaws and a believable lack of competence when she tries to deal with the city guard the same way as with soldiers on the battlefield. Also rather than the author dancing around the issue and having both her and the MC be ignorant of the others feelings, they both quickly realize that neither want to marry the other and actually talk things out before agreeing to somewhat work together on the matter.All in all, these first 39 chapters have been beyond excellent and I hope it keeps that way after the story is picked up.

One of the best novels I've read in a while. Excellent world building and character development. I binge read the entire thing, and I can't wait for more!

After reading synopsis (I repeat after ONLY reading synopsis) the only thing that I wish to expect from this novel is that MC dose NOT return to being human again.Seriously, wild life is way more straightforward, honest and (if comparing from human's) relaxing.I know I am being selfish and does not flow logic or whatever, but that is my sincere wish.

The sci-fi feels hit me from the first chapter. This one amazing story that you are writing. The pacing is excellent and since the plot keeps on moving the reader is forced to read further. However what intrigued me the most was your unique style of writing. You are doing an amazing job, keep it up 👍

read until chapter 7 than the main characters name got switched to "Lin Yi" randomly.... His orginal name was Haotian. So, I understand it's still a Chinese name but how does it switch to a entirely different name. This lasts for two chapters and I stopped since if this happened now than it will probably be worse later. The novel is super fast paced and there is not any background given of why he wanted to "rebel" which is stupid since the Author could of made the novel 100x better if he/she just took like 30-40 chapters and expanded on the world background and the family the MC is currently from.
