This story is driven by the protagonist (every character other than the cliche kind old sister trope may as well not even exist). This means that the characterisation of the protagonist is immensely important.However...the protagonist's characterisation is all over the place. The protagonist during his past life was a cold, brutal, ruthless kingpin. After transmigrating, he meets his old sister...and in an instant his heart begins to soften. What kind of silliness is this? As the story goes on, the protagonist decides he must be a 'good guy' for the sake of the people who care for him (his mother, and older sister). This characterisation is so naive and silly that it left me absolutely flabbergasted.A story with good potential ruined by the hypocritical redemption of the protagonist.

Haven't read this novel yet so I'll go for some neutral rating. The synopsis actually seems interesting enough, combined with its genre as a modern wuxia novel and the seemingly trouble-inducing type of main character, I'm willing to bet that this novel will be fun to read. I'll just vote this so that it might be published at a faster rate. Good job to the translator and thanks for the hard work! 😄

This novel is really good, the story is captivating right from the start. the Main character has a good background and not your typical past that MC was abandoned by his parents or is an orphan because his parents died in a car accident, the writing quality has a few grammatical mistakes, but of course, considering the author is new it's no problem. the story binds you from the first chapter only. I am really excited about him getting strong and taking revenge on those mother fu**ers in the future .Am definitely waiting for more chapters.
