It seems the reader is expressing frustration with the pacing of the story. They enjoyed the first arc until Chapter 203, but found the content about the main character's previous lives uninteresting and repetitive after that point. The revelation of certain characters' connections to the MC was supposed to add excitement, but it was revealed too late in the arc, which contributed to the boredom. The reader had to go through the effort of finding raw chapters, copying them, and using Google Translate to read it all in one day, which they found cumbersome.

In summary, while they somewhat appreciated the story (giving it a 4/5 rating), the lack of engaging content post-Chapter 203 led to a decline in their enjoyment. They wish for a more captivating narrative progression.

The novel captivates me despite its repetitive nature after 100 chapters. It presents a unique twist on the genre, with 99% of the narrative consisting of flashbacks that show the reactions of those connected to the MC's previous life. The MC's original persona, believed to be a notorious villain, was surrounded by enemies – the protagonist, former allies, and potential female leads. Due to their inability to defeat him directly, they devised a cunning plan to trap him in a formation that drains his powers incrementally. Surprisingly, this process also replays the victim's memories.

Enter the MC, who has undergone a reincarnation and gained a system that allows him to alter past events without creating inconsistencies. Taking advantage of the fact that cultivators tend to have hazy memories, he manipulates their recollections, concealing his former self's malicious actions. By deceit, he tries to regain trust from his former allies and heroines, turning them against the protagonist.

As for the true nature of the MC's former self, the story leaves room for interpretation. While there are hints suggesting he once had noble intentions, the details surrounding some of his alleged atrocities remain unclear, leaving the audience unsure about his true邪恶(evil) nature.

This presents a fresh perspective on storytelling. I can hardly believe I just read it; I should have paced myself and waited a year instead of devouring it in one go. Many readers have mentioned the protagonist's reincarnation into a villain's body. As Qull points out, there hasn't been a clear backstory (at least based on what I've read) to definitively label the antagonist as inherently evil. Additionally, the system reminds the writer (the MC) that they must adhere to the original character's trajectory and avoid plot inconsistencies, considering they've crafted a narrative where the villain was once a 'good guy' shouldering responsibilities. It leaves room for interpretation that maybe the villain had redeeming qualities after all.

I've only delved into a couple of dozen chapters of this novel, yet I feel compelled to share my thoughts despite its immense appeal. Although I anticipate potential decline given its origins as a Chinese web fiction, the question remains if there will be dull stretches or a significant dip in quality. "Lord of Mysteries" and "Long Live Summon" were favorites of mine, but they had occasional lulls that I skipped over. Similarly, "Strongest System" started strong but lost its charm for me mid-story, which led to me discontinuing it. As the saying goes, "enjoy the ride while it lasts," and I rate based on my personal enjoyment. If a book genuinely captivates me, regardless of whether I complete it or put it down later (with a reasonable reason), it earns a solid 4 or even 5-star rating from me. Given how much I've thoroughly enjoyed these initial few chapters, I believe this novel absolutely deserves a top-notch 5-star endorsement, regardless of what happens subsequently.
