I enjoyed reading up until Chapter 102; it was fresh and entertaining, different from the typical villainous transmigration trope. There were occasional instances where the antagonist, like that character Lin Feng, started to resemble more of a cunning antagonist than a hero, which added an interesting twist. However, starting from Chapter 102, the story began to拖沓. A spoiler: when he gained the reincarnation light, it felt like the author suddenly introduced a new plot direction without much buildup. It seems the story will continue along this altered path.

The narrative is intriguing, as it demonstrates how the author skillfully resolved all the misconceptions among FMCs (First Mutual Companies) and MCs (Main Characters) without any direct intervention from the MCs themselves.

It started off fantastic and I had a good time, but unfortunately, they spoiled it. The repetitive plot with him escaping the "glass prison" has become tiresome – we've seen it happen three times already, and every time we expect a real resurrection, even the main character questions it, expressing genuine frustration, which echoes our own feelings. If you're considering reading this, perhaps wait a couple of years; by then, the story might still be dragging on, rehashing the same scene without any meaningful progression.

It's truly remarkable how well this unfolds. The protagonist cleverly rewrites his past to explain the villain's actions, presenting them as the last memories of the "villain" before his demise, revealing that he was actually misunderstood. If he accumulates enough good deeds, the system promises resurrection. It's incredibly satisfying to witness the heroes come to terms with their misjudgment towards this selfless individual who had always protected them from the shadows. And then there's the unexpected turn when the "protagonist," Lin Feng, learns that the MC was the one who revived him after his initial 'death,' guiding him on the path to cultivation and orchestrating his adventures – almost like a silent declaration of "I am your father." This story has an undeniable dramatic and comedic element to it.

Honestly, I think it's due to the lack of updates. This novel hasn't been updated for 6 months already, so it's not surprising that it's buried this low

The first arc is so good lol. I don't know how many times ive reread it just because of how great it was.

The second arc is definitely also good but to me it kinda becomes a bit redundant a bit reading through the mtl but it's still one hell of a novel. Also might just be because i was reading the mtl that it felt redundant so don't quote me on that.

Atleast the first part never makes me fail to tear up a bit each time ive reread it.

I'd give it a 9/10 if it wasn't redundant but that could also be the MTL's fault so borderline 10/10. You won't regret reading this, this novel made me question the ranking system for this site lol.

The plot of this novel revolves around what happened in the past. Meanwhile, there's not a lot going on in the present time. The story itself feels like reading a history book, where we already know the current state of the world, but the events of the past unravel hidden details that recontextualize what we already know. The main attraction and fun of this novel comes from that. Overall, a highly interesting read.
