She then gains a system that allows her to trade goods through gossip. The world she inhabits is based on a novel, where she is the younger sister-in-law. It's a dark love story, although "love" is a stretch, as it primarily revolves around sadomasochistic themes. The original plot involved a husband being sent to the countryside, a mother's anger, a severely injured elder sister, and the heroine enduring torment from the "crazy" male lead.
Yet, the MC's life experiences a transformation, and the system gradually disrupts the original storyline.
