I was genuinely into it at the start—it was simple but had a certain charm to it. However, as I approached the end, I started feeling drained, like, "When is this going to wrap up...?" The storyline also took a turn for the... well, silly? It became hard for me to follow, partly because I couldn't distinguish some of the characters from one another, which is probably more of an issue with the art or character design. But seriously, Umi would be fine in one panel, crying in the next, and back to being fine again in the following one—LOL. Like, maybe the pacing just wasn't quite there?

Overall, it was a decent read. I did enjoy the beginning, but it lost steam toward the end, unfortunately ^^;; Still, it's a good pick if you're looking for something laid-back and light-hearted :o)
