In 1751, a dying empire is reborn through the soul of a man out of time.

Saifullah-ud-Doula, the newly crowned Nawab of Bengal, is not who he seems. Born with the memories of a 21st-century Bangladeshi scholar, he awakens to a world on the brink of catastrophe: the British East India Company’s shadow looms over Bengal’s riches, his court simmers with betrayal, and history’s tides are poised to drown his people in blood and subjugation. But Saifullah refuses to let fate repeat itself. Armed with knowledge of the future—and the unshakable resolve of a man who has already died once—he vows to forge a new destiny.

With his fiery cousin Siraj-ud-Daula as his loyal sword arm, Saifullah launches a revolution. He modernizes Bengal’s crumbling armies with flintlock rifles and guerrilla tactics, outmaneuvers the British in cutthroat trade wars, and ignites an industrial renaissance with steam-powered looms and steel mills. His vision? A unified Indian subcontinent under an enlightened Islamic empire, where science and faith coexist, and where Bengal’s prosperity rivals—then surpasses—the British Empire itself.

But ambition breeds enemies. Mir Jafar, a scheming noble, plots with Robert Clive to poison Saifullah’s reforms. Conservative clerics decry his "non-Islamic" machines, while Hindu kings and Maratha warlords eye his growing power with suspicion. Even Siraj’s loyalty wavers as Saifullah’s methods grow ruthless—taxing aristocrats into oblivion, manipulating allies, and sacrificing thousands to build railways and telegraph lines decades ahead of schedule.

As Saifullah races against history, he battles not just colonial greed, but the weight of his own conscience. Can a man who remembers the horrors of Partition and poverty truly unite a fractured land? Or will his quest to save Bengal become the very tyranny he sought to destroy?

400+ chapters and still no development in the personality of the mc which befits a death god remotely. This novel which one would expect to be about the mc's journey towards becoming the death god is riddled by useless and boring 😴 interactions and story telling of other side characters. This frankly gets tiring the more it occurs as who in their right mind would follow this story to read about the love story of some random characters like mulia and hadian, and many other sides. Also the fact the mc travels and adventures in a large group and doesn't mind having these side people tag along creating a group of 7+ people is annoying to say the least. the thrill of the mcs adventure and discovering new locations and items etc. is lost when you have more than 7 people tagging along in this journey. Also having his parents tag along on this journey is the worst idea 💡 this author could have written. perhaps thus was his attempt to try something that hasn't been done in this genre but why try fix something that wasn't broke? who cares about his parents and their drama to the point of making it its own mini novel like seriously. This author lost sight of his priorities. bottom line is, there are many more novels similar and a lot better in execution that this novel as many of the defects of this novel is not present in the other novels so save yourself the headache and time and skip this book.Thank you and have a nice day!

This book is an absolute train wreck. I quit this book a while ago but I saw it on the top golden tickets list so I just had to share my frustration. This is a book about an op MC that does things to get even more OP because reasons. I honestly don't remember the story. I'm either senile or the story is just so forgettable. Anyways the reason for my frustration consists of a variety of scenes. It mostly comes down to characters being obsurdly OP (which isn't a problem for me) without accounting for the consequences (which is a big problem) Our amazing author right here decided to create a character that can throw black holes. Now that's a pretty epic thing in theory but it all falls apart in context. In that scene, the characters were on a planet. Most likely a massive one but that doesn't really matter. If the author actually thought about the consequences of creating a black hole, I wouldn't be complaining. But alas, nothing happens to the environment. The author treats the most destructive "object" in our universe like a green shell from mario. And that is the crux of the problem. The power system reminds me of skyrim. It isn't fleshed out. In Skyrim, magic is commonplace. But you can still use it in prison to summon (for example) an ethereal bow with which you can murder all the guards and prisoners. This, much like this book, makes zero sense. This book hurts my head

I really love this novel. I have tried to find a good cultivation vrmmorpg novel before and I have never actually come across one.The main character is perfect in my opinion. He is just the right amount of naive and I love it. For me a naive main can get annoying very quickly but not Yuan. He isn’t an idiot but there are times where he just doesn’t totally understand concepts that are obvious to others especially the NPCs in the game. Which for me adds a nice touch to his character that I am enjoying and one of the biggest things I love about this story. One thing that I can hardly wait for, at the time of this review, is when his sister will enter the game and be able to play with him. It will be very interesting to see how she will react to who he is in the game. The world right now seems like a normal cultivation world in the game. I gave five stars for it just because I don’t mind that kinda thing and I am sure this author will enhance it and make it much better as they have done for their other novel. Also, while the pacing might seem a little fast I quite enjoy the speed it is going at. There are many novels that I can’t enjoy because things just seem to drag on but not in this story and I truly enjoy not having to trudge through multiple chapters that are only there to be around to pad the word count.  It isn’t like that in this story and it is another one of my favorite things about it.The writing quality is pretty self explanatory in that it is well done and I haven’t been jarred out of my resding by spelling mistakes or bad grammar. I never expected there to be any problems from this author so it wasn’t truly a surprise for it to also be given five stars. At this time it is a little bit of a wait and see on the update stability but I gave five stars for it in the true hope that the author will give us consistent updates to this wonderful story. In conclusion thanks foe an amazing story and I hope more people read it.

Overused plot with a reincarnated Pill Emperor successor as the main character. The translation is flawless but the story is as very bland and repetitive.E.g: Lots of faceslapping and no real progress in the story or the development of the character.
