This manga was absolutely refreshing! I savored every single moment of it, as it was incredibly cute and adorable throughout. It made me smile, laugh, exclaim "awww, cute!" and even giggle in a fangirling way that I haven't experienced before. That's why I've given it a perfect score—it's simply because I enjoyed it immensely!

If you analyze it more objectively, though, it does have some flaws but would still deserve an 8 or 9 score. Let me elaborate on some details here.

Story: The story, while a bit clichéd, was executed so well that it's forgivable. It follows the familiar lines of 'I love this person so much that I'm ready to open my heart again, but I'm also scared of getting hurt' and 'A big misunderstanding causes drama.' Yes, it's not an extraordinary or highly original plot, but it's told effectively, giving more room for more significant elements like the characters.

Characters: Both characters possess well-defined personalities. Some might detect a sense of déjà vu in them, but I found them to be genuinely unique, especially Keito. He appears intimidating at first glance, but upon getting to know him, he turns out to be the cutest awkward man ever! Serizawa initially seems like a really cheerful and happy person, but we get to learn more about who he truly is and strives to be. Even though the manga is only one volume, we can observe the characters develop significantly, which is quite impressive.

Art: I adored the art! The illustrations are stunning, featuring clean straight lines and just the right amount of detail. The chibi and cute expressions were utterly endearing!

Enjoyment: Well, this essentially brings us back to my initial paragraph. I thoroughly enjoyed every part of this manga, and after each chapter, I felt a bit sad because I knew there was so little left to read!

Overall: This is an excellent manga, and I believe any shonen-ai fan could appreciate it. The story is simply so simple, cute, and pure. It genuinely fills you with happiness and makes you feel all giggly!

Honestly, the first time I read the initial pages of the manga, it didn't strike me as amusing. I thought it would likely end up being clichéd and presumed it would be dull. However, upon reading it a second time, I found myself drawn in by its simple yet heartwarming narrative.

If you're the kind of BL reader who looks for 'you-know-what' scenes, this isn't your cup of tea. Still, you might want to give it a try!

Let me begin with the story:

Serizawa Hajime is a man who works at a bookstore. One day, while checking some books, he encounters a tall, intimidating university student named Tsuda MacLeod Keito. Serizawa initially had a bad impression of Keito due to the incident, but as Serizawa observes Keito more closely during his visits to the bookstore, he discovers that this seemingly fierce wolf is actually gentle and innocent like a kitten. As time passes, they learn more about each other and grow fond and comfortable with one another.

Art: The artwork is not overly intense but is well-drawn. The expressions and atmosphere are effectively conveyed to the readers.

Character: Although the character development is slow, it didn't fail to captivate me. It wasn't boring at all. All characters were likable and played their roles well. Despite his appearance, Keito's character is childlike—innocent, caring, doting, and clingy. His childlike attitude might annoy you, but it's so adorable that it's almost annoying. On the other hand, Seri is more mature than Keito. He harbors fears from past relationships with men, but due to Keito's attitude, he attempts to open his heart again and let his feelings flow naturally.

Enjoyment: Each chapter leaves you wanting more. It isn't overly cheesy like those shoujo mangas, yet it makes you feel loved and special.

Overall: A great read. While Café Latte Rhapsody doesn't have an entirely unique storyline and the characters may be typical 'shy' types, it's worth giving it a try. You never know what lies beneath the cover, do you?
