"I have searched for you for centuries." Adam grabbed her by the arm, pulling her closer until their faces were inches away. Eyes locked in a battle of will.
"Why?" Avana reacted, suddenly drowning in the intensity of his stare. "So, you can hurt me." Saying barely in a whisper. "Kill me?"
"No." He responded as his lips grazed through her temple, leaning even closer.
"Then, why?" She closed her eyes as electricity coursed through her body with that slight contact of his lips on her skin.
"So, I can claim you as mine."

First off, the story:
It's similar to many sports anime out there—centered around a guy striving to grow stronger to achieve his goal.
At least, in this case, the protagonist wasn't overly weak from the start.
The writer did an excellent job with the pacing of the story.
It didn't rush or drag unnecessarily. The ending, however, was somewhat frustrating. It wasn't the type that leaves you wondering, "Is that it?" but it certainly felt like there were unresolved elements and unanswered questions about significant events.
The art wasn't breathtaking, but it was functional.
You could easily tell characters apart, and it maintained enough quality to keep the experience enjoyable.
The special effects, such as wind and other details, genuinely enhanced the storytelling.
The characters were hilarious. Each had their own distinct personalities, which was undoubtedly the highlight of the manga.
For all sports manga enthusiasts, this is a worthwhile read.
Not one of the best, but definitely worth checking out!
