Just after finishing the Sailor Moon anime, I stumbled upon something that felt like a clone of it. Even though it wasn't as entertaining or deep, it was still enjoyable.
The art style is a bit old-school, but that makes it even more charming. I actually think it's better than the art in Sailor Moon. Sometimes it even gives off a bit of a shonen vibe :)
The story is pretty naive, and the characters are even more so. But to give them credit: they're all just a bunch of kids thrown into super unrealistic situations :)
One of the biggest advantages of this series is its brevity—it's not your typical shoujo with a million volumes :D
So if you're not too put off by naivety and still have a bit of a childlike spirit inside, go ahead and give it a try :)
I began reading this manga back in 7th grade, and I have to admit, I got a little obsessed—lol. Now that I'm in my twenties, it's not as amazing as I remembered, but then again, the same could be said for *Sailor Moon*. It's a sweet series for kids, and that's really all there is to it. The story isn't particularly original—it's essentially a *Sailor Moon* clone—but I do think it has its own charm. First off, the art is fantastic and adorable, and the characters are likable enough. However, the plot lacks conflict and can feel overly simplistic and dull at times, though it's still decent overall. The themes of love are well-executed, and the world-building is fairly standard fare. If you're looking for an 8/10 series, this isn't it, but if you're searching for something cute and enjoyable, I believe you'll have fun with it. ^_^
