The bamboo horse alpha – falling from the sky

[Fake kind ,back bellied , occasionally dramatic, and direction idiot gong × Soft-hearted, tsundere, and compulsive perfectionist shou]

Yu Jiu is a beta. Handsome, academically excellent, a skilled basketball player, and someone who fights better than most Alphas—he’s considered an anomaly in school.

No one knows that he’s actually an Omega.

Then, another “anomaly” transfers to their school.

Zhai Chi, Yu Jiu’s childhood friend whom he hasn’t seen in five years, is an Alpha. Zhai Chi is kind, humorous, never releases pheromones, and is so gentle he hardly seems like an Alpha. His good looks instantly make him the dream Alpha of every Omega in school!

Yu Jiu, due to health reasons, is repelled by all Alpha pheromones—especially Zhai Chi’s. Determined to avoid him, he decides to keep his distance.

But before long, Zhai Chi transfers to his class and insists on becoming his deskmate.

Zhai Chi: “I’m new here and you’re my only friend.”

Yu Jiu: He’s so pitiful… It’s just sharing a desk. Pheromones won’t spread!

That evening in the dormitory:

Zhai Chi is already setting up his bed. “I’m all alone in a foreign country. If you don’t take me in, I’ll have to sleep on the streets.”

Yu Jiu: He’s struggling too… Sharing a dorm won’t be an issue since we’re not sharing a bed.

One day, Yu Jiu gets into a fight off-campus. Zhai Chi, seeing blood, immediately wobbles:

“This is too cruel, too gory! I’ve never seen anything so violent!”

Yu Jiu: He’s really so weak… I have to protect him!

Later, when Yu Jiu is cornered and suppressed by a group of Alphas’ pheromones, Zhai Chi takes less than ten seconds to knock all of them out.

Yu Jiu: “…”

And then, during an unexpected heat, Yu Jiu, in desperation, lets Zhai Chi—an Alpha who has never released pheromones—mark him temporarily.

Yu Jiu: Alphas are Alphas after all. They’re somewhat useful in critical situations.

Afterward, Yu Jiu tries to sneak away, only for the Alpha who had just marked him to grab his waist and look at him pitifully:

“Are you going to abandon me after using me?”

Yu Jiu: “…”

Childhood friends reuniting, pseudo-broken reunion, and a healing, sweet love story!

This is a sweet story, but could include toxic characters.

I've taken an interest to this coz of that synopsis. Hope it stays true to the synopsis and is a "discovering amazing things in this vast world and trying to understand the Dao" type of story. But if it derails into a typical "you dare look at my girl,....ok then DIE!!" or some power cultivating without any logic or mindless slaughtering of ancient clans just because of a useless "young master" offending the MC then...........I would be disappointed...

The story is basically a Japanese novel with an op cringe protagonist. It is honestly fun to read something like this again... I'm honestly tired from all the cold ruthless op MCs that can even hold their character straight... c'mon are you a ruthless or just edgy as fk. The author has said in the summary what type of story its going to be so I dont get why people are bitching about it beeing as it was described. Now onto the story itself. There are 2 problems that I have with the story. First one is the grammar. It is honestly not bad as some of the reviews might make you believe... since I have seen bad grammar. From which you just loose brain cells and there is a ton of those types of novels. This one is very much readable and the mistakes are minor and easily fixable. The mistakes also happen maybe once to three times a chapter... so not that often. Second would be the MC. He is not terrible since I wouldn't have read 20ish chapters if he was... but you have to make him grow somehow. I like the fact that he is cheerful but it's really annoying at how idioticaly he acts sometimes. Get him a skill that will calm him down a little bit so he doesn't embarrass himself. Showing lustful expressions just makes him look like a creep and even though it is sometimes funny... his character will defenitly get stale pretty quickly. Keep it happy go lucky but please make him realise that he should take things a bit more seriously and get himself a bit of  a cool head (cool head in the terms that when he is excited he won't act like a kid and start shouting whooo! hoo! or accidentally make his mouth slip and stuff like that) Good Luck with your novel... though i think that the depressed "ruthless MC" loving audience on this website is not made for this novel. Sometimes I really see some of these comments and think if these people ever got some love in their lives? Like wtf...

I got bored idk why. I always yawn while reading this book. I'm quite surprised that the mc is naive at chapter 160+. Fucking dumbass and a hypocrite of a mc. And his "girlfriend" died and he is still the same.
