Before you read this novel, there's a very important question you have to ask yourself, which is whether or not it's okay to kill people. If you read the first chapter of the novel you see that in his previous life he used to be the Immortal Venerable and the lord of the entire universe. You see, the lord of the universe is a kind of special position where only one person in the ENTIRE universe can take. So think for a bit, how do you think he became the  lord of the universe? I see 99% of the reviews are about how he is a murder and a big meanie who likes to kill people and is not a nice person. well no duh, if he was the lord of the universe in his previous life what do you think his personality is like.killing aside, this is actually one of the best novels. in persepctive, you know almost all novels here are actually translated on qidian and actually there are a lot more novels on qidian which are untranslated and this website probably holds less than 1 percent of the novels on qidian. this novel along with emperor's domination and library of heaven's path became the 3 big kings of qidian in 2017. like there are millions of novels on qidian and this one was in the top three, this just tells you how good it is. however, the problem with this novel is that in the beginning it's really slow and just like typical chinese garbage cultivation novels with lots of face slapping. but later on like chapter 100 and beyond the novels becomes really good, the author is really talented and really good at describing a world, and he integrates the novel with lots of history and the modern world so the reader can almost feel like their in the world.  many past historical figures are actually incorporated in the novel and the author gives background on what makes some countries super powerful. also the cultivation system is extremely accuracte with each level having specfic powers that different them from the level below, unlike many other novels where the mc can just defeat people 20 levels higher than them. the main thing about this novel is just that the author is really good at describing scenes that readers can easily visualize.however if there's a problem about this novel is that the translation is almost horrible. i google translated the first chapter and compared it with this and i notices at least like 20 discrepences between the chapters. this is the same with almost all the chapters. the translator messes up almost every single cultivation term and there are many scenes that are totally portrayed incorrcetly, that i think this is obviously mtl and edited. if you're going to mtl, can you atleast use google translate because it is so much more accuracte than whatever mtl your using. if you feel like something feels weird it's 100% the translator not the authors fault and should read the google translate if a sentence feels weird which is like almost every other paragraph.

Good book so far but the names of the spirit beast Are so long for no reason.

love the story. the fl gives some spy serious Vibe. the mystery is amazing and the thriller is too. the author did a amazing character sketch of before and after fl's father's death.

First off, I will say that the writing quality of this story is great. They do a lot of things right, and the story has many enjoyable parts. I find myself smiling quite a bit at sections of the story. That said, there are two glaring issues with this story that need to be addressed. First off, the reincarnation aspect of this story is basically pointless. The main character is a human who was born into the body of a dragon, so you'd think there'd be some difference between him and other dragons right? Nope. This MC no different from the others. Thinking like a dragon, acting like one, and is essentially dominated by his dragon instincts like 90% of the time. If you wondering if his human side is ever going to matter, you can safely put those thoughts to rest. He is a sociopath who lovingly plays with his family and then slaughters hundreds of humans with a smile on his face while complaining that it was too easy like all the others. He brings nothing new.In addition to this, it seems like the dragons in this story suffer from brain damage. They preach about keeping balance and how humans are using mana wrong. But they never try to explain anything to them. The dragons constantly complain about this problem as well, but they're causing the very issue they're trying to stop. The dragons also set up a training ground for young dragons to kill humans, but if humans ever win, they get butthurt and go destroy cities completely unrelated to the deaths and say: "Yeah! That's what you deserve!"What's worse is that these dragons think of themselves as wise and intelligent beings. And for the most part, they are. They even go out of their way to collect EXTENSIVE knowledge on specific human kingdoms. Yet somehow they can't grasp these very simple pieces of common sense.

The funniest part is that Nicholas onii chan actually became stupidly brave and go to a unknown room in the ancient tomb.
