Despite my reservations about the system employed and the main character's portrayal, there are intriguing aspects that grabbed my interest. Since the translation is ongoing, I'll refrain from diving into spoilers. The author skillfully takes liberties with underdeveloped plot points, weaving compelling interpretations. Had it not been for the emergence of new details, I might have fully embraced the direction they took with the One Piece universe, particularly during the Whole Cake Island arc, which was not yet concluded. Connecting the world in this story is commendable, but it loses some credibility for occasionally indulging in self-expression. Approach it as a fanfiction, and appreciate the author's clever moments.

The system constantly hinders the main character's growth, making it difficult for them to develop their skills effectively. As a result, their power progression is alarmingly sluggish - they are one of the least improving protagonists I've come across. Despite this, the MC refuses to push themselves to improve rapidly. I'm losing interest, as I don't wish to follow a story where it takes the protagonist 50 years just to reach a Super Rookie level. Although I'm exaggerating slightly, the situation is still concerning. After seven years, the MC possesses only 217 doriki - a weak member of CP9 would have around 600. Even at maximum power, they can unleash an attack with approximately 400 doriki, but they are unable to sustain it further.

The pacing is leisurely, but there's a time skip involved. The main character isn't excessively powerful compared to other novels where the protagonist becomes a vice admiral by chapter 15. They need to improve their skills, which requires diligent effort, similar to the growth in 'GSS' but not overly OP.

This is my first time reviewing here, and I'm still getting the hang of it. Let's call it a learning curve. *laughs it off*

However, the translation could use some polishing, as there are occasional repetitions of sentences with slightly altered versions, and a few errors in word choice. For instance, character names are inconsistently translated, such as Hina being referred to as Tina and then back to Hina again – these are simple fixes that would significantly improve the readability.

The system in the story is somewhat inconsistent and underutilized. Instead of relying heavily on god-like card abilities, the protagonist focuses on training to gain strength. While this approach is acceptable, it feels incongruous for a novel titled "Super Card System" when the system is introduced extensively in the early chapters but becomes largely irrelevant later on. An example would be a new card drawn in Chapter 120; its statistics and abilities aren't disclosed until Chapter 140, where the protagonist simply equips it and uses its powers as needed, which can be confusing.

However, the MC's lack of resource management and occasional reckless spending becomes a point of annoyance. Initially portrayed as a caring older brother, the MC displays inconsistent behavior, particularly during instances of sexual assault and obsession with legs, which detracts from his character.

The action scenes can be frustratingly predictable, with the MC's strength oscillating between vulnerability and overwhelming power, resembling a common anime trope. The MC's decision-making seems naive despite claiming an adult's maturity, leading to a disconnect.

In the romance aspect, the author's choice of romantic interests appears forced, with the MC's attraction to characters like Hanc*ck feeling contrived. The MC's dislike for Hina based on age difference is followed by a sudden interest in Hanc*ck, suggesting a predetermined love interest. The portrayal of Hanc*ck's affection feels shallow compared to other fanfictions.

Despite these issues, the novel is still a decent read. The MC's shortcomings prevent me from fully enjoying it, but the writing itself is commendable. I'd rate it 4 stars for its readability, despite the unsatisfactory aspects related to the main character and the treatment of female characters, which is common in this genre.

I'm genuinely having a blast with this fanfiction. Among all the One Piece stories I've read, it ranks second, with God of Soul System being number one, of course. The storyline is exhilarating, and I appreciate how he's connected with Zoro and Ace, their camaraderie is hilarious to witness. It's refreshing to see him not be overpowered to the point where victory is guaranteed against formidable foes; instead, it keeps me on the edge with suspense, wondering how he'll manage to survive each encounter. Although his system is centered around wealth, which can be annoying at times, he's strategic and tries to enhance his abilities using his resources. He aims to strengthen himself organically, using the system as a catalyst, even though it's a money pit. His progress is remarkable, earning him the nickname "monster." I really enjoy this story, and despite initially giving it a lower rating, I'm definitely boosting it up now.
