A blunder by a team of researchers unlocked the realm of Entomorphia, unleashing colossal insects known as Entomorphs. The overwhelming numbers of these creatures and their resistance to metal weapons drove humanity to the brink of extinction. However, salvation came from an unexpected source—an alien species called spirits. These spirits had been living among humans, disguised as various animals. Witnessing the devastation wrought by the Entomorphs, they chose to intervene. By forming contracts with humans, they granted their spirit powers to fight back against the insect onslaught.
One day, the protagonist, Ray Foster, encounters a cat covered in bruises. Moved by compassion, he takes her home and cares for her. Unbeknownst to him, this cat is a spirit. Grateful for his kindness, the cat forms a contract with Ray, transforming him into a spirited warrior. Thus begins the journey of the world's most formidable Jaeger.
