This story doesn't make any sense at all are you saying that an insignificant soul of THIS mortal is capable of affecting this god king, if so then you need to redo your power scaling because the soul of a this MC and his kind (God King Cultivator) is EXTREMELY lemme pin for you really EXTREMELY weak as weak as the mortal of the earth, from what i know cultivators have strong spiritual/mental strength that's why i'm telling you that you better come with a good friend excuse or redo the entire power scaling of the Mc's kind.What bothers me is how soft-hearted the Mc is(not saying he needs to be a typical chinese protag) going so far as to thank the previous owner of the body with that kind of personality is something you wouldn't expect to a being who claim to have walk and pave a path of blood and war to himself which made him look like a p*ssy to me.Again the fricking soul is what bothering me the most how fricking weak this cultivator must be to be affected by one insignificant mortal soul🤦🤦😑

I feel an underlying dread when reading this story like its momentum is building up to become something that is going to amazing.

TLDR: Rocky start but finds it’s footing soon enough, therefore worth a read.The beginning is rocky. The MC has a slow start that involves the traditional cliché of being derided from others for being a crippled but being allowed where he is due to his status as a consort. the plot starts to moving a bit faster after chapter 20, so stick around as it does get better.There are some plot developments that make little sense that are left opened for later explanations. MC is out for revenge, not a saint by any means, and seems to go the distance to get what he wants: power. Of course, he has not gone off the deep end… yet, as I am sure it will happen as some point. Characters include the traditional bunch of antagonists, a mixture of characters that have more depth that has yet to be seen, and gray characters. I’m currently at chapter 79 and a big moment just happened so I feel comfortable making a review now. I’m sticking with it for a while, as this author has delivered before. Updates are daily and grammar is of course better than majority on webnovel.

As of right now, the most important thing I can say is “give me more chapters!!!!!” I have not read any of the original source material (raws), but I am enjoying the translation, if not for the slow release. I assume as this is a newbie translator, they aren’t currently able to pump out chapters due to translation speed/real life. They have been very good with grammer and translating into English. As for the content, I have seen the antagonist vs. protagonist setting before, but this novel makes the MC out to be competent and intellegent (his decision making processes are fairly sound so far). I am curious to see what will happen once he “wins,” but that is for another time.
