The novel was very good and i was hooked on it but i am disappointed in mc character transformation. He is a serial killer with no emotion towards anyone and now he has a bottom line.In the initial chapters he was cold blooded, calculative and will do anything as long as it benefits him and later his character is being changed into a typical beta mc.i was really happy to find this book initially but now it's just another disappointing webnovel.

This book is captivating from start to finish. The authors depiction of the attack is stellar. The chapters take you on a bit of a roller coaster ride. As things begin to calm, you can almost feel the ******* right around the corner. The authors usage of foreshadowing in chapter one really sets the town for the entire book. We see potential trouble at the gas station with the homeless man, but then the fight breaks up. In chapter two we see the epicenter of the story, at the same location. The twists and turns keep the reader guessing and quite honestly makes it difficult to stop reading. The author also does an excellent job of conveying emotion. The extremely strong bond between Connor and his bride is palpable. Lastly, the author develops Connors character to such an extent that I found myself actively wanting him to prevail. I would absolutely recommend this book. Itβs easy to read and will touch your emotions if you let it.
For a girl barely 18 years old and used to the privileges and comforts of modern civilisation, solitary confinement in a dank, dark and cramped cell was like hell!
