I stopped reading after the fifth chapter due to poor translation quality. The writing is稚嫩, riddled with grammatical errors, and the descriptions and word choices are unsatisfactory, making the reading experience quite frustrating. Based on the limited content I've seen, it neither stands out as exceptionally engaging nor poorly executed; it struck me as average.

If you're not concerned about translation quality, you might consider giving it a chance, but if you value a polished translation, I'd recommend looking for another novel with a competent translator.

I'm giving this novel a solid 5-star rating, despite not being a professional reviewer. The enjoyment factor alone earns it that distinction. Although some people draw comparisons to "Nidome no Yuusha," they mainly share a revenge theme and a female companion. This particular light novel contains a sadistic element and a狠角色 MC, but it's milder than "Nidome no Yuusha," which I appreciate.

Unlike the主角 Kaito in "Nidome no Yuusha" who seems broken and unhinged, Iori maintains his sanity, which adds to my satisfaction with the story. In "Nidome no Yuusha," Kaito reincarnates to the beginning, where nobody recognizes him, making his revenge less impactful. However, in this novel, Iori's reincarnation into the future allows for a more gratifying revenge arc, as the betrayers remember him and face consequences.

From a personal perspective, if you seek extreme sadism and an insane protagonist, go for "Nidome no Yuusha." If you prefer a revenge plot with a sane MC, this novel is the way to go. Both books have charming heroines, but I'm more fond of Elfi.

The translation is decent, though its quality may vary depending on your English proficiency and source. Volume 1 can be found in traitorAIZEN's PDF, and the rest is available on Norvablog.

In summary, this novel offers a different take on revenge with a more balanced protagonist, making it a compelling choice for readers seeking a satisfying story without the same intensity as "Nidome no Yuusha."

This particular light novel holds a special place in my early reading list. I found it engaging. To clarify for those comparing it with revenge tales like Nidome no Yuusha, the premise differs significantly. The main character (MC) is reincarnated in the same world years after their initial summons.

If you seek an intense, graphic revenge narrative with extreme torture, this might not be your cup of tea. Here's why:

    1. The MC maintains their sanity, unlike other protagonists who spiral into madness due to immense suffering. Their downfall isn't as catastrophic as Raul's or Keyaru's, where they lost everything or endured daily torment. Instead, they experience betrayal right before facing the demon king.

    2. Both the MC and the former demon king have weakened, especially since the MC's stats have been reset upon resuming. This means they can't simply toy with their enemies who once betrayed them; they must complete their mission without succumbing to death, given that these foes were once formidable allies when the MC was at their peak.

In essence, the focus is on a measured, strategic pursuit of justice rather than gratuitous violence.

To be honest, I really enjoy this novel, but I wouldn't go as far as calling it divine. It has an engaging storyline, well-developed characters, and intense torture scenes. However, I understand that everyone has their preferences. Comparing it to "Nidome no Yuusha" is like comparing apples to oranges; if you don't like it, simply say so. The constant comparison feels unnecessary, like Karen comparing her child to the neighbor's, lacking the point. In short, the story is good, with elements of romance and a light comedic touch.

I had high expectations based on the premise, thinking it would be a dark, intense tale similar to Nidome no Yuusha, filled with brutality and resentment, urging me to root for the protagonist as they sought vengeful justice against their betrayers. However, my anticipation was sorely disappointed.

The author seems to lack a grasp of the complexities of revenge and the emotions it engenders. The protagonist repeatedly falls for the same betrayals, which undermines any notion of a genuine quest for revenge; instead, it appears as a series of foolish pranks. The narrative ultimately devolves into a generic adventure story, lacking depth or substance.

Save yourself the time and avoid this novel; it's not worth your investment.

The story progresses at a relatively leisurely pace and carries a PG-13 rating. As others have mentioned, it's a significantly milder adaptation of Nidome, filled with overused tropes. However, my primary reason for discontinuing the series is its poor translation quality; it's nearly impossible to follow due to grammatical errors scattered throughout every other sentence.

If you've experienced the story "Nidome no Yuusha," you'll resonate with this tale. There are certainly differences: in Nidome no Yuusha, the main character (MC) returns to the initial moment of their summoning, whereas in this one, the MC is actually transported to the future, which means that all other characters are aware of who he is and the injustices committed against him, unlike the earlier series. Up to chapter 5, it's been an enjoyable read.

Firstly, let's address the central topic of discussion among reviewers: the story revolves around revenge, and yes, it does involve a fair share of brutality and sadistic elements. The protagonist indeed engages in numerous confrontations, both lethal and involving torture, but it's important to clarify that it's not gratuitous violence or exploitation (as seen in some other works).

In my view, while I don't mind a certain level of violence, this novel has its fair share, but the main character isn't portrayed as a mindless killer. They don't resort to violence at the slightest provocation, which sets it apart from some other revenge-themed novels (like those found in the light novel genre with over-the-top reactions).

Compared to "Nidome no Yuusha," the gory aspects are toned down, along with the excessive chuuni (magical girl) and angsty elements. This makes the story feel more grounded and relatable. The drama and psychological turmoil, though present, are woven throughout genuine character interactions, preventing the MC from being a one-dimensional revenge machine. The comic relief moments fit well within the narrative.

The translation quality is satisfactory, with occasional errors and awkward phrasing, but overall, it's easy to read. The story's premise is intriguing, and the pacing keeps the reader engaged. However, there are a few forced interactions, but so far, the author has managed to steer clear of creating a harem dynamic. That's why I deducted a star.

The vibe of "Nidome no Yuusha" may not be your typical hero story, but I absolutely love it! It's refreshing to come across a plot where the demon queen appears unexpectedly. What I appreciate is that the main character, despite the early encounter, doesn't undergo a significant mindset change like a typical hero. This sets up an intriguing dynamic for the upcoming conflicts and the sweet, satisfying revenge arc that I'm excited to see play out.

In summary, the writing quality of this story is extremely poor, bordering on稚嫩, as if it was intended for a six-year-old audience. There are no intricate details, proper exposition, or convincing dialogue; instead, the author relies heavily on the catchphrase "I SEKAI REVENGE."

The revenge-themed story lacks depth and originality. The protagonist frequently utters violent intentions, but so far, their actions have only targeted minor antagonists, leaving the main antagonist unharmed and still causing trouble. There needs to be more complexity and intensity in the narrative.

It's unfortunate that the writing lacks depth and originality. None of the characters, including Luser, develop distinct personalities throughout the entire volume. Luser himself isn't particularly amusing, but rather stands out due to his more defined traits. This work ranks among the driest I've come across, with an entirely ordinary and unengaging plot.
