A world filled with lives cultivating the power of Mie, the power of Ruins, the truest essence of heaven and hell to ascend in existence. A reality where sacred, hidden mysteries shape destinies. Lin Jiao, known by the name of the "Demonic Rat," is feared and despised by every living creature. He is the true embodiment of selfishness, shamelessness, and ruthlessness. After committing unspeakable atrocities in order to maintain his sole existence, including the slaughter of millions, he is surrounded by the combined forces of justice, ready to end his reign of terror. Severely wounded, despised, and with no way out, Lin Jiao faces his demise, almost denying his existence in the eternal heavens. Yet, in his final moments, he uses the Starlight Pearl, a Ruin that captures the true meaning of Heaven and Hell, to escape death and regress a thousand years back in time.

Back in the body of his younger self, Lin Jiao no longer wants to merely maintain his existence, he wants to become the whole of existence itself. He’ll commit even more wrongs than in his past life. In his past life, his misdeeds had a meaning, a meaning of survival, but this time, he’ll do wrong for the sole purpose of his own ascension through no limits, and the skies will have no choice but to watch him slowly pierce through them with no morals or ethics.
