And to be honest I am not good at lying. I just can't tell her that I am okay since I really don't look like it. I need to find a way to out of this, after all, it would be weird if I can't act the normal Peter Parker in the future. So let's use the mixed truth and lies.

I was especially interested in their power system, being fuelled by magic but with an essentially different approach. Their way of cultivating reminded me of a tale I had heard from a passing archmage of a world where so-called cultivators used qi to cultivate their bodies and spirits, exerting power through martial arts and techniques. But the thing used in this world clearly wasn't qi, it was magic. It seemed like the people in this world were using a synergy between the two, albeit a synergy that didn't produce a stronger but a weaker result. Their grading was also different, much more primitive might I say. I mean basing everything on a feudal system isn't very creative.

Overall a disappointing read. Standard transmigration novel where the MC arrives in a world based on a Eroge game and of course he is the villain. The story itself was just to long in development, starting at him arriving at 5 years of age, but it dragged on through school years etc. after chapter 41 I threw it in. Initially the MCs (villain) goal was to save the heroines and sub-heroines from bad endings if not selected by the protagonist, think it was 4-5 Heroines and 3 sub-heroines, when out of the blue comes another transmigrator who also knows of this game and they team up splitting the girls between them. Mind you, both transmigrators are still young, oh and the second transmigrator is a girl (but maybe past life a guy, no idea). So 2 young kids are plotting, even discussing murder and later the MC actually incinerated a number of homeless bums. Yeh he prevented a future event happening but in my thoughts if he knew what was to happen then im pretty sure there were other ways to get around this episode. Still it happened and it really was kinda offputting.Anyways, the story was, in my mind, nothing exciting and read almost like a child’s story. I forget that a lot of Japanese novels tend to be rather formal and stiff in their delivery, which didn’t do this any favours. It was simply to childish and failed to deliver something that can capture a readers attention.Tl;dr - Try elsewhere for something more engrossing.

Extremely good grammar that makes the story come alive. The characters are great, and the story is written with a good sense of detail VS flow. Thanks for this author.

11/10, would devote my entire life to reading this. If I could be teleported into this story, I would but like..as a bystander maybe, someone who just watches everything happen. The scenes are described extremely well just as the characters and the fights are the chefs biggest kiss 🤌🏼 . The suspense and anticipation between chapters and events are not too long nor too short which keeps me hooked and wanting more without feeling overwhelmed. Am excited to see how everything continues to go on.
