So the novel is good I like it, for me it is a new idea, but minus -3 stars for the gender mistakes. His sister is changing gender so fast it isn't nice to read, I mean really if you translate a novel at least try to do it properply

I warmly recommend this novel. It is very refreshing and original. Translation Quality: Overall, I have been satisfied by the language quality. English is fine. However, assessing this particular aspect is always hard since I don't understand Chinese and i'm not a professional translator (Translation is a very peculiar exercice and requires dedication). English is not my mother tongue either. Update Stability: The team has usually kept the daily schedule. Moreover, the author has not published much more chapters so there is no point in expecting a quicker pace for the updates. Story development: The novel is one of a kind on this website. By any means, it is a Xanxia novel. Yet, the writer gives a mysterious, otherworldly mood to his story and to the characters. For once, we feel that pursuing immortality is a journey for the protagonist, that he becomes something different than the "common folk" ("similar" to the Selbstüberwindung from Nietzche perhaps). Character Design: Very satisfied. The focus is on Jing Jiu but the other characters are given enough attention to feel real. Relationships and backgrounds are rich. World Building: The world feels coherent and real: a well done typical Xanxia (Martial Sects, etc.) with a complex background, which is being developed along the story (Nothing has been dumped violently). Furthermore, the story has not fallen in this unpleasant cliché: this continent is a small backward island, there are skies beyond skies, etc.

I've read the Translations. It's funny, interesting and it's relieving MC is OP enough to overcome every situation. What people find appealing about MC is that he's not a hypocrite self-righteous person. He kills and knows why.I can also sense some racism along the way..Honestly, it's still to soon to judge anything. As the World Building is terrible! and I can't make heads or tails of it. First, it seems like Modern Day, but then it's like 1920's steampunk, add fantasy-races on top of that. The Cultivation is to messed up. If you've read Novels like "Way of the Devil" Where Cultivation is Secondary and based more around Mortal life. It's like a Wuxia in a way.I can't judge anything by the Romance but so far I don't like it as MC personality is active and they are too meek so they just don't make a good match to me. It'd been nicer if it was a more of a exciting girl.
