Born with extraordinary abilities that no human should possess, Noir's earliest memory isn't of his birth parents, it's of blood-stained grass and haunting howls echoing through the night.

Found and adopted by an elderly couple who should have run screaming, they instead chose to embrace the impossible child who could leap across rooftops and communicate with wild beasts.

For sixteen years, Noir has tried to tame the feral power thrumming beneath his skin. His adoptive parents' unwavering love helped, but there's only so much you can learn about being "normal" when you accidentally shatter doors or find yourself growling at the neighborhood dogs and winning.

Now, his parents insist it's time for him to experience real life, high school. But how do you fit in when you can sense everyone's darkest secrets?.

As Noir struggles to keep his beast hidden behind his façade of normal high schooler, he uncovers disturbing signs that he's not the only one hiding supernatural secrets in the halls of East Ridge High.
