Shameless Editor’s review!(No spoilers or plot discussion will appear. This is just my opinion on the overall story)I’ve been working on this novel for around 20 months, so a bit over 1 year and 8 months, and I must say that this novel has been a treat to edit. (Started working on this around Chapter 119)The story premise is very interesting, keeping a steady rhythm between detailed character development, plot progression, action, and steamy romance. The story is really enjoyable to the point where editing each chapter has never felt like work. It’s always managed to keep me engaged and anticipating what comes next, never once feeling boring or dragged out. The writing quality of this story is clear, concise, and has little to no errors. (It is my job to make sure that is the case, so it has my editor’s seal of approval!)The world development Author Victor Weismann has created is very in-depth, showcasing various supernatural factions which intertwine and interact to create a vivid world of fantasy hidden beyond the veil of a modern world. The use of real-life mythology and the way the different myths have been woven into the story both enrich the reading experience and work very well with each other to create interesting dynamics that is unique and engaging. Each character is well fleshed out depending on their significance to the plot, rarely, if ever, leaving readers unaware of a character’s traits, background, personality, or who they are as a ”person”. The use of pop culture and a healthy dose of anime/manga references create humorous interactions between characters and aid in defining many of the characters’ traits. (This story is Yandere heaven)With chapters being updated daily, with an average word count of 2000 words per chapter, this novel provides a decent amount of entertainment for everyday reading. And for those of you just starting, with a stockpile of 777 chapters as of writing this review, there’s an entire world for you to binge-read to your hearts content to consume a significant portion of your time to escape your boredom. So why not give it a read?

The core of the novel is extremely solid, it is entertaining and immersive and it wants to be told. The characters seem lively and depicted well, it's a solid novel. Don't feel like you need to establish authors notes in the middle of a chapter though, as that breaks the immersion. Especially in something as important as a first paragraph which is huge for a novel. If a reader doesn't understand something, we'll ask. Then you can reply to a comment :) The other detractor that I see, which gets better over time in your chapters, is grammar and sentence structure. Every once in awhile it'll get away from you and pull the reader out of the story.I understand English isn't your first language, don't worry, it happens to those of us that have it as a first language all the time. but I do think it would be worth going back through and editing your early chapters (especially the first one as that's what is going to hook new readers) as your skill improves. You're definitely headed in the right direction! Keep up the good work.

I've read up to chapter 400 so far and I would say this story is ok at best. The author goes into a lot of detail with describing the things the MC is doing while crafting, which at the start I thought was good and even necessary to sort of lay the foundation and give the reader a better understanding of what was happening, as well as visualize the crating process. What I didn't like is that the author continues to write about crafting in great detail like this for the rest of the story. Now there's nothing wrong with the crafting aspects in these kind of stories, in fact I enjoy the crafting parts a lot. The problem is there is not enough action/adventure or story development taking place to balance out the crafting aspect and it gets tiresome to read. The beginning of the story was decent as the MC first enters the game prior to its official release and reaches his first town where he begins crafting in the various styles like smithing, leather working, tailoring, alchemy etc. This goes on for a few dozen chapters, and just when it's starting to get boring, the MC leaves the first town and starts traveling. Then the story picks up a bit and gets more interesting for a little while, until the MC goes to sea to reach some islands. At this point the pacing of the story takes a dramatic plunge and is almost completely focused on crafting during the voyage with only a few plot developments for about 150 chapters, and became painful to read. After the MC finally reaches the islands the story starts gets interesting again for a little while, before falling right back into monotonous crafting. As for the MC's life irl, most of it I found boring, unnecessary, and during one part, even offensive. I was holding out, hoping the story would get better after other players started entering the game, but by chapter 400 the game hasn't even been opened to the public yet, and I'm probably going to drop this. For some, this might be a good story, but it just didn't suit my tastes. If you're looking for a good story with the right balance of action/adventure, story development, and crafting, I would highly suggest reading "Overgeared" instead of this.

Xin Fan did not understand what Tong Hu said but he was cautious this time before attacking. Xin Fan didn't know what it was but there seemed to be some sort of figure besides Tong Hu. Xin Fan could sense Tong Hu's cultivation. It was the same as his was yet what attacked him contained no traces of Tong Hu's qi. It was some sort of energy that he could not understand.

Melody texted and said she no luck outside so she went to help Nikki. Alec raced up the stairs leading to the roof. "Noah!!??" he yelled. There was no response. He ran around frantically looking for him. Then in a corner he saw him. Noah sitting with his hands over his head, crying, and shaking. "Noah?!" Alec quickly ran to him and tried to calm him down. "It's gonna be ok, I'm here." Alec said rubbing Noah's back. "I'm not going anywhere, I'm here." Eventually after a while Noah calmed down, Noah looked up. "I..I'm sorry.." He said shyly.

"Hey Erza, looks like we're in the same class again, what a coincidence. " I said as I trudged over to Jellal and Erza ." More like what a disaster. " mumbled Jellal while pinching the bridge of his nose and looking at his desk . Erza elbowed him before I finally pulled a chair out in front of me. "Yeah, what a coincidence. "she said while scratching the back of her head. " So Erza, are you going to be part taking in the nomaniations for the new School Body President this year? " I asked while plopping down in the seat in front of her. "Sure, I mean only if Jellal is going to be a candidate too." she said while turning her face toward Jellal," What?"asked Jellal while looking up to be met by my gaze. "You heard me, don't pretend that you are deaf now. " she said while looking at Jellal dead in the eye.
