In this story, the protagonist possesses the unique ability to control zombies akin to a necromancer, but instead of relying on Skeletons from a 'Gods and Devils World' (GDW) setting, he embarks on a quest to rescue his childhood sweetheart, a stunning beauty who tragically died while rushing to save him. She has now been transformed into a zombie.

As he encounters her in that state, he utilizes his powers to bring her back, discovering that each time she consumes another zombie's brain, she gains strength. This connection not only strengthens her but also influences the protagonist. Together, they hunt down increasingly powerful zombies, believing that these creatures are merely mindless rather than truly deceased. The novel offers all the familiar tropes of zombie literature, such as villains, parasites, and expendable characters, along with power-ups from their battles. His zombie girlfriend becomes an formidable ally, adding an exciting twist to the narrative.

The 18+ zombie story is quite impressive. Typically, novels with similar initial setups tend to fall flat, but this one stands out. The protagonist has a touch of craziness, yet the author handles it well, maintaining their sanity, injecting humor, and avoiding excessive selfishness. The supporting characters are multi-dimensional, adding depth to the narrative. Although there's eventually mature content, it's not the central theme. My suggestion would be for the main character to exhibit more strategic thinking; their long-term plan seems stagnant since the beginning.

After acknowledging the unusual premise of a man controlling zombies and the intriguing dynamic between him and the girl he cares about, which some reviews initially raised concerns about, I would recommend giving this book a chance. Despite initial doubts, the plot has only recently started to unfold and deviates from typical zombie narratives by having the protagonist directly confront the horde, not seeking refuge in hiding. His actions are driven by a selfless desire to help the girl regain her mental strength.

While there is certainly room for improvement, my anticipation grows as the story progresses and the character development takes center stage. I am intrigued by the prospect of their journey together and the possibility of discovering others with similar abilities. As the plot thickens and the characters evolve, I believe the story will become increasingly captivating.

"Why does this have so many upvotes? Is it some sort of Chinese voting bloc? The title itself might contribute to it, but I'm unsure if it's due to translation issues. Firstly, it's important to clarify that the main female character is not his girlfriend – they were not in a relationship before the outbreak, and he never obtained her consent. The infected people are clearly not zombies; zombies imply reanimated corpses, whereas the virus in this story seems more like a form of frenzied madness.

As for the story itself, it's quite average. The fight scenes lack excitement, and the protagonist uses his powers to revive his childhood friend, presenting himself as a hero. There's a hint of romance, but it's tainted by his manipulation of the girls, essentially controlling them without their consent. This could potentially lead to darker themes, like him turning into a serial rapist due to his actions.

However, despite its flaws, the book might be enjoyable for fans of post-apocalyptic and infection-themed novels, as it's not a complete disaster to read."

The narrative is engaging, but the conclusion is utterly disappointing. It was abruptly canceled without any form of resolution or epilogue, leaving a bitter taste. Such an abrupt ending is highly unsatisfactory, considering how much potential the story had. It's unfortunate, and I must say, it's a disservice to the readers. The author, this is truly遗憾.

The novel has relatable characters and a likable main character, along with a harem theme, which I appreciate. However, my issue lies with the inadequacy of the power system. Initially, it was clearly established that all zombies possess a substance called gel that aids their evolution. The protagonist feeds this gel to his zombie girlfriend, who progresses accordingly. Then, a shift occurs, stating that advanced gels can only come from mutated zombies, which implies that the first gels were insufficient. Instead of logically gathering gels from regular zombies and enhancing one he controls, the protagonist starts actively searching for mutated ones in risky locations, despite having the means to create mutations.

This inconsistency becomes frustrating when the author later changes the rules, stating that only mutated zombies have the gels and that they evolved from consuming brains, contradicting the initial explanation. I double-checked the early chapters, but the description remains the same regarding the girlfriend's gel acquisition from regular zombies. It's baffling why the author didn't explore this method further.

Furthermore, the power system feels abstract and lacks clear progression, with underwhelming fight scenes. Given the focus on the "weak to strong" genre, this inconsistency and the unsatisfactory pacing make the novel fall short in this aspect. As for ecchi content, while it's not pornographic, I've seen spoilers suggesting that the first sexual encounter won't happen until around chapter 120-130, leaving the majority of the story focusing on the power progression, which has already been disappointing in the first hundred chapters.

Essentially, the protagonist possesses underdeveloped ESP abilities and struggles to manage a few zombies. His girlfriend has been turned into a zombie, and he believes he can reverse the transformation by... yes, feeding her brains. While the plot is entertaining, it fails to provide the same exhilarating experience as an exceptional literary work.

So far, it's decent, falling short of "Dominion's End" but better than "Killing Grounds of Gods and Devils" and "The Trembling World." The title might be questionable, but it doesn't involve an MC manipulating zombies for inappropriate purposes. It's about a protagonist using his unique ability to save his crush from the zombie infection. The main character is intelligent, and the plot isn't overly contrived. Overall, it's a satisfactory read. I'd give it four stars, but since I'm a fan of post-apocalyptic survival stories and haven't found a true masterpiece in this genre yet, I'll bump it up to five. Perhaps I should check out "The Walking Dead."

Update: Actually, ignore my previous comment about it not being perverted. The MC somehow becomes quite the deviant. Losing interest now, down to three stars.

Well, it's been almost six months since the last chapter dropped, and I'm still checking for updates every now and then. So I must admit, I've developed a fondness for this series. Here's why:

    1. The protagonist's slightly unaware madness, dissection of corpses, and unconventional love interest in zombies make for an intriguing dynamic.
    2. The superpowers are both captivating and well-explained, adding depth to the story.
    3. The evolving zombie scenario creates a rich backdrop, offering diverse storylines and thrilling action sequences.
    4. The MC and their companions don't pursue a futile quest to save everyone, which keeps the narrative grounded and realistic.
    5. The romantic involvement with zombies ensures that the story stays firmly rooted in the apocalypse, preventing a lull in the human element.

Honestly, I'm curious about how the story concludes, what becomes of the world, and the characters' fates. While it's not without its flaws, I've genuinely enjoyed the journey so far.

Certainly, here's the response in English:

"I must admit, I haven't left a review before for stories on this platform, but I felt compelled to share my thoughts. This particular story is an absolute must-read, especially if you're open to exploring the darker aspects of human nature without being overly sensitive. The female characters are well-developed, and I've found the narrative engaging since I started. Unlike many novels from China, there's no lack of depth or repetitive content – the world-building is genuinely impressive.

In summary, I would rate this story a solid 10 out of 10. I'm eager to discover more works by this author. Enjoy!"

Are you interested in a captivating apocalyptic novel? How about this one? It has a delightful twist – amidst the chaos of the world falling apart, the protagonist enjoys a contrasting, romantic journey. Think "Romance amidst Ruins" with an apocalyptic backdrop. If that's too sweet for your taste, I've got another option for you. Prepare for a survival story titled "Apocalypse Cockroach," featuring a relatable main character. The Chinese title is "末日蟑螂." Let me know if either piques your interest!
