    I have read a lot of CN novel translations and have become jaded by the recurring tropes. This novel is a breath of fresh air with its easygoing vibe and slight undertone of mystery. Reading a chapter of this is a highlight of my day. So Translators and Editors keep up the EXCELLENT Work!I was sad when the previous translators went MIA and was overjoyed when it was picked up. This story is one of the reasons I am grateful that Qidian started on the translating scene.

    They have no tension because everything instantly resolves and you dont even get to relish a face slap before the story moves on to more non-problems.

    I passed this novel up a few times. But I’m happy that I decided to take a chance on it because it’s ranked in my top 5 atm. I don’t care about the occasional grammatical errors.     There are only three chapters so far and it is really great so far. The first chapter really brought me the trust issue when that old man did something like 'that.' And for Shade, he is a pretty much realistic character except he decided to buy the 30$ chocolate. Haha, to sum it up the plot is great, the character is well-made and it gives me thrill since the story is really enjoyable. Read this if you enjoy the survival and thrilling stuff.P.S. Great job, author!!! Keep writing, I wish you well in your contest, I would vote for you if I have some spare powerstone.

    Transmigration story. Interesting premise so far. As of chapter 60, seems like a smart and strong female protagonist, hopefully it stays that way.
