This tale draws inspiration from the Arthurian legend.

He was known by many names.
Bastard, the False King, The Traitor, Treacherous Knight.
Sir Mordred was a villain, destined by the prophecy of the great wizard Merlin to bring about the downfall of King Arthur Pendragon's kingdom.
And he did, at the cost of his own life.
As he lay dying on the blood-soaked ground of Camlann after the mighty clash with Arthur, a tear rolled down his face.
All he had wanted was acknowledgment from his father, but all his actions led to disaster.
Now, as death's cold hands gripped him, he hoped for brief peace before facing the fiery rings of hell.
But this was not the end of his journey.

“Hold up.”
“What is that infernal noise?”
“Oh my goodness! It's driving me crazy! And it won't stop!”
Mordred jolted awake, slamming his fist on the digital alarm clock on the nightstand.
'What in Merlin’s name is happening!', he thought as he realized something—or rather, a lot of things.
Firstly, how was he alive?
Secondly, what was a digital alarm?
Memories flooded his mind, memories that didn’t belong to him. They felt familiar yet everything seemed wrong.
How could Morgan Le Fay be his sister? She was his aunt! And why was the wizard Merlin so young!
“Oh, I get it now.”
He, Sir Mordred, had been reborn in the body of an alternate version of himself in a modern and futuristic world where he was the youngest son of Arthur Pendragon. But even in this world, he remained the hated son of the High King.
"Now what?", Mordred pondered, realizing the world he was in now differed greatly from his previous one, with only the names of people he knew remaining familiar.
“Oh? Are you still reading?”
Mordred smiled at the readers.
“Well, how about joining me on this new and wild journey in a world filled with heroes, villains, monsters, and even gods?”
“Are you ready?”
"Let's go!"
