The night was thick with mist, the full moon casting an eerie glow over the dense forest. Shadows stretched and twisted between the towering trees, whispering secrets carried by the wind. Somewhere in the distance, a wolf howled—a deep, mournful sound that sent a shiver down Lena’s spine.

She shouldn’t have been here. The warnings were clear. No humans were to step beyond the boundary of the village after dark. Yet here she was, standing at the edge of the unknown, her pulse hammering in her ears.

A snap of a twig behind her made her whirl around, heart pounding. But before she could react, a figure emerged from the darkness—a man, tall and imposing, his silver eyes gleaming like molten steel in the moonlight.

“You shouldn’t be here,” he murmured, his voice a dangerous mix of warning and curiosity.

Lena took a step back, her breath catching. There was something unnatural about him, something untamed. She could feel it in the way the air around him crackled with energy, in the way his gaze pinned her like a predator studying its prey.

“I—” she started, but the words died on her lips when he took a step closer.

His presence was overwhelming, his scent a mix of earth and something wilder, something that made her stomach twist in ways she didn’t understand.

Then, as if the universe itself had decided to intervene, the clouds shifted, allowing the full moon’s light to fully illuminate him.

And in that moment, Lena saw the truth.

He wasn’t just a man.

He was something else entirely.

Something that shouldn’t exist.

The MC has as much personality as stale bread. The typical filial shtick with the annoying mentality of 'returning a droplet of kindness with a waterfall'. This MC has no individuality, nothing to distinguish him from the 100,000 other MCs with the exact same personality. If that wasn't enough the translation quality is terrible. The quality noticeably drops every 5 chapters. For instance, some words are directly translated into English without considering the context. This is why this novel calls cultivators as 'fairies'. Obviously rushed!Honestly, I have no clue how this rubbish was picked. The story is awful, character design is bland, and the translation quality is reminiscent of machine translation.

B O R I N GA boring power up story that wastes it's original premise. I was expecting unique strategies or usage of the top up system, but nope it shows up whenever the author feels like boosting the MC. Translation is spotty and reads like an engineering report: "Went there, did that, got rewards"MC has no personality or development and is pretty much an emotionless robot. side characters are generic cardboard cutouts of "this is villain

'Eh? I didn't even put much into the first one? Is she faking it?' He tested it by using no mana on the next hit. There was no way this hit would even hurt a toddler.

When it was done cleaning the mortar and pestle, the rabbit placed it on the ground. It rummaged through its fur coat to pull out a block of something that looked like vegetable root. The Jade Rabbit sniffed at it and nodded satisfactorily before dropping it into the mortar. Then it started to get to work.

"Hold still for a moment. Let me examine you." Audrey grabs my head and a holographic display of my brain pops out. A portion of the brain is red. The closer to the center of the red, the redder it is. "Ah, I see. This is why you don't remember. Let's fix you up then." She pinches the red zone and pulls it out, then throws it into the fire. A flurry of memories rush past. I remember first meeting Selina and her family. The three day fight I had with the DreamStalker guy defending Selina's unprotected comatose consciousness. Man I wish comatose people could remembered their visit to Dreamia. That fight was epic. Then I realized it. I fell in love with another woman.
