The author seemed to lavish more attention on world-building than fleshing out the characters, which became quite frustrating.

There's an abundance of unnecessary padding... Not only does the romantic storyline progress at a snail's pace, but the overall plot development is dreadfully slow. If you choose to read this, brace yourself for a vivid and elaborate description of various settings, scenarios, and incidents that unfortunately get overshadowed or discarded in subsequent chapters, never to resurface. It's quite a test of one's patience and a substantial loss of time, particularly since the拖沓 becomes almost unbearable from the halfway point all the way to the end.

This doesn't appeal to me at all. There's a lack of action; it's like watching paint dry.
