When the mc gained the ability to control plants I was displeased to find out it meant making plants come to life and commanding them while they act like pets. My other big problem with this story is that every time the mc evolved (at least the first two) he just changes his hair color. I didn't like the sentient system and quests that you're forced to do but they weren't as bad as others and I could deal with it.
