" Tell me what happened?" Priya asked anxiously.
" Don't ask me anything now, I have to go to the police station" Arvind answered without looking at me.
Arvind left hurriedly.
I didn't understand what was happening here.
I went to Karthik's bedroom to check him.
Then I noticed his palm was cut and was bleeding. I don't know where the first aid kit in his room, so I brought it from my penthouse. When I was dressing his injury, he hissed in pain and opened his eyes.
I observed his gloomy eyes filled with pain and tears at the corner of his eyes. My heart-ached looking at him in that condition.
" What happened Karthik?" I asked him rubbing his hair softly.
" My best friend hates me. It's killing me," he answered.
" I did a big mistake by hurting him. I accept my mistake. At least he is not giving a second chance to explain. He is punishing me for two years ignoring me and treating me like his enemy. It is killing me. Even my mom doesn't trust me. No one loves me. I am feeling lonely. I don't want to live anymore" he said while lone tears rolled from the corner of his eyes.
"Shhh…..calm down. You are a fantastic person, Karthik I have ever seen. Arvind, Shreya, uncle, and all employees need you. Don't ever speak about killing yourself. We all love you." I consoled him.
He immediately got up from the bed and hugged me tightly.
"You love me?" he asked me cupping my face.
I could understand his state, he was in an alcoholic effect. So I nodded my head straight.
He loosens his grip and looked into my eyes.
" You trust me, right?" He questioned.
" I trust you more than myself" I smiled.
" Thank you so much. Do you know my mom loves me but she didn't trust me? At that time do you know how I felt? I was broken …." He cried hugging me.
"Everything will be fine. Don't worry." I assured him.
" Will you too leave me like my mom ?" he asked me.
" Never. I will be always with you." I answered.
"Promise…" he asked again.
" Pakka promise.." I smiled.
"Thank you beautiful…." he kissed me on my forehead.
I was beyond the shock of what just happened. My body freeze at once.
" Then don't leave me. Be with me all my life" he closed his eyes holding my palm.
Still, I couldn't believe…. What he spoke!!
Does he love me???
Having a family, I am living like an orphan.
Why a rich person will love an orphan like me? Love never exists in my life! I laughed at my destiny.

From start to finish, I was both lost and deeply engaged in the story. I know that might sound strange, but let me explain. As the chapters unfolded, new elements kept being introduced to the mystery of attaining Heaven, which heightened the suspense as time ticked away while the protagonists pieced together the puzzle surrounding the overarching enemy—once again, DIO and his followers.
Overall, I believe the first Jojo Universe received the conclusion it deserved, with the concept of lifting the Joestar curse by resetting the universe.
I'm incredibly excited to see how DP adapts this into an anime in April 2021. For sure, a fantastic part.
[Story: 8]
This might be the best story up to this point, simply due to how varied the settings feel and how the pacing was close to perfect. The plot rarely stagnated or felt like Araki was spoonfeeding us one stand fight after another. This part also has the most epic ending arc of the first six parts, period. No arguments to be had.
Unfortunately, it is JoJo, meaning the story never feels incredibly well-presented or written. We also (obviously) get a handful of new stand fights. The stand fights might not be as well-made as in part 5, but they seem to have a lot more creativity put into them—some of the most bizarre ones to date.
[Characters: 8]
Here, our main character is Jolyne Cujoh, daughter of Jotaro Kujo. She is capable of showing a lot of emotion unlike her father, but while also having a way with her fists. I think she is the most complex JoJo character to date, and throughout the chapters, she also gets a great amount of character development. I have never been blown away by the characters' personalities, but I believe Jolyne is one of my overall favorites and definitely stands out from the rest.
The side characters we mainly see weren't all to my tastes, even though I think they are all decent at the very least: Hermes and Foo Fighters, both being my favorites, were at times funny but serious when the time required it, and also had interesting character designs. Neither has much of a backstory, but they are great characters nonetheless. Hermes, however, felt a little too absent at times with no good reason, and her personality could have used a bit more time in the spotlight.
Annasui, Weather Report, and Empyreo, on the other hand, didn't really stick. Annasui is first introduced as an emotionless shell, but out of nowhere, we are informed that he is in fact in love with Jolyne, but besides that, his actions are left up for the viewers' interpretation, as his personality is never truly explored. Weather Report, like Annasui, is never truly explored and is nearly emotionless for over half the duration of the manga. Empyreo felt neither dull nor interesting, and his only reason for existing is to be an ally (similar to Speedwagon, just less interesting and a child).
The main villain, Pucci, is in my opinion the weakest villain in all of JoJo up to this point. Personality-wise, he might have the edge over Dio, but unfortunately, I think he still comes off lesser due to him simply lacking the same evil villain vibe which Dio had.
[Art: 8]
Not having read parts 3-5, I don't know how much the art has improved, and I also read the colored version. I personally found everything incredibly well-presented, and nothing ever looked ugly. The art seems simply great, with only a handful of slightly odd-looking panels. Even the coloring seemed well-made most of the time and truly made things feel more alive.
[Enjoyment: 8]
I found this part to be an improvement over the previous ones, with the exception that the characters couldn't really stand up to the cast in Part 5 or 4 as a whole. In part 5, there were next to no weak links, and stand fights overall were slightly inferior, and in part 4, there were a few incredibly strong personalities. Jolyne Cujoh being a great protagonist and the story having a really good pacing, however, ended up making it the most enjoyable part thus far for me.
I'm not really into reviewing, but I'll tell you that if you truly dive into it, you'll appreciate what Araki accomplished with Part 6, and I hope more people will explore it once it gets animated.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's better than Part 7, but it's way underrated for some reason. For instance, F.F. and Annasui are among the best characters Araki has ever written, and you won't change my mind about that.
Pucci was created to be the next DIO, and while I don't think DIO can be easily replaced, if Pucci's purpose was to fill that role, he did it damn well, and I think he deserves far more appreciation as a villain.
For a while now, I've heard people say Jolyne is a pretty dull JoJo because she didn't do anything cool like the others... oh man, Jolyne pulled off some seriously crazy stuff over the chapters, and it hurts to hear so much hate directed at her.
There are also some flaws in the manga that are pretty obvious, like Hermes disappearing for half the part for no clear reason, Araki forgetting how birthmarks work, the healing powers of DIO that weren't mentioned until this part came out, and DIO's three sons, who were pretty useless (even though I love Versaci).
There are pros and cons to the manga, and as I said, in my opinion, it's underrated, and I hope it gains more attention in the future.
Thank you for reading, and have a good day!
There's an overwhelming amount of nonsense in certain chapters. While Jojo is known for its share of absurdities, Part 6 elevates this to an excessive level of protagonism, deus ex machinas, plot conveniences, and more.
The ending feels rushed, and it's evident that Pucci had far greater potential as a villain but fell flat in the end.
In conclusion, Stone Ocean had immense potential, boasting impressive visuals and a promising lineup of characters to delve into, yet it failed to deliver a satisfying Jojo part.
