Synopsis:
Qian Lingyan, a young Demon-Slayer from Weidao City, possesses an extraordinary sensitivity to Qi, yet is unable to cultivate his family’s hereditary Qi Technique, the Ice-Snow Technique. According to family rules, any adult Demon-Slayer who fails to master the family’s Qi Technique will be expelled from the household, leading Qian Lingyan to face scorn and contempt from other Demon-Slayers in Weidao City.
By a stroke of fate, Qian Lingyan falls gravely ill and discovers that he possesses the Heart of Flames, which prevents him from cultivating Ice Qi and thus learning the family’s hereditary technique. Devastated but unwilling to give up, he ventures out to seek knowledge. His perseverance pays off when he finally finds a renowned master and learns the supreme Qi Technique, the Yin-Yang Life-Giving Technique. By harmonizing Yin-Yang Qi to fuse ice and fire, he becomes the sole practitioner capable of wielding both the conflicting attributes of Ice Qi and Fire Qi.
