I only read until chapter 20, boring that's all I can say, the plot follows the same plot as the comic. MC didn't do much change like when there was dialogue he didn't even take the initiative to speak just kept quiet and thought in his mind even when Tang San asked Yu Xiaogang to be his teacher MC just followed Tang san and I stopped reading there, I think the MC is really just a side character who followed Tang San like a chick. I'm just summarizing what I read, maybe some of you have read up to 20+ chapters, if so can you summarize the progress.

This is a story that is not one. The author is only rewriting Douluo Dalu and adding a few sentences like: "MC looks on with a smile on his face".
The biggest tale that there is a problem with this is that you could replace the MC with an object and you would have the same things happening.

The problem is that the author wants his character to be with Tang San and co and doesn't want to change the story but doesn't make it so that his character has a story.

As an example, during the Shrek academy arc, the teachers teach nothing to the MC because he is OP  and doesn't need help with cultivation, but they could have set up a regiment to make him gain true experience by sending him on some adventures.

What I meant by all of that is that the author doesn't make a story parallel to canon so that his character can live in the douluo world, he is only witnessing and doing nothing.

That's the negative of this story, and since I don't like being negative about things I will talk about the positives.

In terms of story updates, the author is constant and the quality doesn't fall.
The writing is good and it is easily readable and aside from the common mistakes, like quiet (volume down) that becomes quite (quantity), you will not find anything to complain about reading this.

    Have read till Chapter 54.

Writing quality - 5/5 - Great quality of writing.

Story Development - 3/3 - Pretty boring all things said. The MC just follows behind Tang San. I know that isn't bad but he literally changed nothing much. His dialogues with other characters is minimal and he literally spends most of his time cultivating. Good points of this story was his determination of not killing soul beasts for spirit rings and having a decent MC that isn't desperate for Harem. At the same time, I feel that MC is asexual, as there is no love interest or even mention that he finds anyone interesting in a romantic way.

Character Design - 3/3 - Bland MC. The MC always maintains a distance with everyone, being overly 'polite' in every scene. The MC always stays polite except for few times like when Xiao Wu was injured by Zhao Wuji during the test. MC wanting to keep to the OG timeline is really unreal, he is always mindful of how he would affect the story, that he does nothing to change things deemed 'helpful' for Shrek Seven. I would have liked a bit more originality and creativity here, as it seems a bit forced.

    Updating Stability - 5/5 - No comment

World Background - 5/5 - It's Soul land, one of my favourite ff world background.

Overall - 4.2/5.0 - Great for casual reading and for those who do not know OG Soul land 1.

Hi I just finished reading all the chapters that you posted and you left me wanting more and more ! so when I realize that such masterpiece didn’t have a review I was shocked! So I’m here to show my appreciation to your work ! Please continue with your hard work ! That being said...

Writing Quality: it’s pretty good, I didn’t notice any big mistakes in your grammar. For me it was very fluid, I read all 40 chapters in one go and  I never felt tired ! I enjoyed reading it and that’s the most important thing for me.

Updating Stability: I can't say much about it, so I’ll trust you and give you 5 stars. Please continue to update frequently!

Story Development: I say it’s a good rhythm, not so slow but not so fast, until now you pretty much followed the original rhythm of the manga which is good for me. Although I felt like the MC should do more physical training, like sparing with tang or something like that, for what you write it seems that he just do some heavy work out and meditate but that alone doesn’t give him experience on real battle. Until now that wasn’t a problem because he never encountered anyone who was stronger than him in real fight ( I’m not counting the exam to enter Shrek Academy, because if the professor had take it seriously, Joy would lose ). Other than that I notice that the MC try hard to not change the original events, which I can understand, but that can become very boring in the future, until now that’s not a problem because it still just in the beginning of the plot. Overall I’m loving it !

Character Design: I have nothing to say about it, l pretty much see him as Aizen before betraying Soul Society, I didn’t paid too much attention to his description so I can’t say much, I’m sorry !

World Background: I recently started reading Doulou Dalu, I didn’t finished so I can say much. However I thought it was clever the idea of using the infinity stones as material soul ! MCU it’s not my forte, although I watched the movies I was never a die hard fan of the comics.

For now that’s all I can give you, I’ll do another review in the future. I hope it was helpful!
I’m sorry I can’t give you a more detailed review, I’m usually to shy to Write anything, this is my first review ever T^T

Obs: please take in consideration that English it’s not my native language so I apologize for any mistakes
