[Infinite Regression Genre]In any fantasy novel, regression is a guaranteed cheat key!

What if it’s the ability of [Infinite Regression]?
There’d be no need to worry about any bad endings. After all, the protagonist would eventually reach a happy ending.

“Cheat key, my foot.”

I tried it myself just to find out otherwise.

The myths of regressors’ success depicted in all those novels are actually fake…
It was all just vile propaganda!

“This run is doomed too.”

This is not a story of success; it’s a tale on the aftermath of failures.
Thus begins the heartfelt documentary of a man with 1183 runs of experience!

Of all the Korean novels I've come across, this one stands out as the absolute best in the "regression" subgenre. The prose is exceptional, with well-developed characters that exhibit depth and impact. The protagonist is commendable, the plot twists are ingeniously crafted, and there's a surprising similarity to Gintama in terms of its unique blend of humor and gravity. Despite not typically being a fan of this genre, this book has become one of my all-time favorites due to its ability to handle both light-hearted and profound moments with equal skill.

I've created this account specifically to express how much this novel has captivated me. In fact, I'm genuinely enjoying it more than ORV. The character interactions, world构建, and plot twists are all expertly crafted. As a fellow writer, I appreciate the delicate balance Shin Noah maintains in creating a complex world without sacrificing coherence – it's truly impressive.

If you haven't started yet, I highly recommend reading up to the point where Noh Doha is first introduced. I don't remember the exact chapter, but it's early on (less than 100 chapters) and it's definitely worth it for those who love exploring immersive fantasy landscapes. Give it a try!

This narrative recounts the tale of a man who found himself in a nightmarish SCP-infused world, where his疯狂程度超越了周围环境的疯狂。

This is an exceptional work of art. I've never felt compelled to write a review for a story before, but this novel was so extraordinary that I couldn't resist sharing my thoughts. Initially, I was hesitant about the non-linear narrative, but I was delighted to discover how captivating it actually is. From the very beginning, I've been engrossed – I've been reading it voraciously for several days without losing interest.

The writing is outstanding; the more you read, the deeper the appreciation. There might be some minor details that seem incongruous at first, but they beautifully connect later on, creating a delightful sense of revelation. The foreshadowing is a particular highlight, adding to the overall enjoyment.

Characters in this novel are richly developed and intriguing; they evolve and grow on you. Each character is distinct with their own unique traits, making them hard to put down. Describing them without spoilers would be challenging, but suffice it to say, they're memorable.

I absolutely adore the protagonist, Undertaker. His approach to the surreal anomalies, his humor, resilience, wisdom, and even his imperfections make him a standout character. His eccentricities, given his long life and varied experiences, are endearing. He's easily become one of my all-time favorites – who else can regress for a cycle just to recover their mental state or run a supermarket amidst a post-apocalyptic world with socialist fairies? It's extraordinary!

The progression of the world, its technological advancements, evolving relationships, and the ominous presence of a certain entity that terrifies me – all these aspects are masterfully crafted.

The contrast between a world that relentlessly seeks to eradicate humans and the poignant moments of connection and love amidst impending doom is nothing short of breathtaking. I simply cannot praise this novel enough; my words fail to do it justice. It's a must-read without a doubt. My enthusiasm might come across as excessive, but believe me when I say it's a true masterpiece. I haven't experienced such joy in a literary work in a long time.

    In conclusion, a resounding 5/5 – an absolute must-read.

The epilogue in this novel, featuring Undertaker as both protagonist and regressor, raises intriguing questions. Traditionally, an epilogue signifies closure and a definitive end, but when a story loops back, restarting at its supposed conclusion, it challenges the concept of a finality. This infinite regression narrative invites readers to ponder the nature of endings, time, and the ever-evolving nature of both stories and life.

In this tale, each 'epilogue' becomes a portal to a new iteration, blurring the line between endings and beginnings. It prompts us to question whether true closure exists, suggesting instead that there are only ongoing transformations. The characters and readers are caught in a continuous cycle, much like the endless dance of time.

While I thoroughly enjoyed the book and recommend it, especially for fans of the author who wrote Su***de Hunter, the plot offers a touch of intrigue. It echoes elements of SCP, with characters like the Executioner showcasing abilities that could turn monstrous. The repetition in chapters 50 onwards may test some readers, but my personal experience was positive.

Here's a list of key characters and their traits:

    1. Undertaker - Male, Regressor, diverse personalities, resilient, with excellent character development.
    2. Saintess (Executioner) - Female, fake constellation, hikikomori, telepathy, clairvoyance, and time manipulation.
    3. Old Man Scho - Male, another regressor, sword expert, and possibly AWOL.
    4. Seo Gyu - Male, SG Net, always the first to die in each regression.
    5. Dang Seo-Rin - Female, witch, Harry Potter fan, eccentric, and associated with WitchJudge.
    6. Sim Ah-Ryeon - Female, Healing Angel, absorbs hate for healing, artist, academically successful, and OldManGoryeo.
    7. Sword Marquess - Male, insane old man, plant growth, lunatic, and delusional.
    8. Cheon Yo-Hwa - Female, high school student, necromancer, second lunatic, delusional, Fairy King Apostle, and SixthGrader.
    9. Yu Ji-Won - Female, silver-haired psycho, minimap skill, loyal ally, cunning, and potential best girl, Officer.
    10. Oh Dyeok-Seo - Female, self-proclaimed prophet, chuuni, knows some details about the regressor's story.
    11. Noh Do Hwa - Female, prosthetics doctor and blacksmith, National Road Management Corps.
    12. Go Yuri - Female, perception manipulator, alters common sense, creepy, and possibly a pink-haired monster, CookingQueen.
    13. Lee Ha-Yul - Female, puppeteer, disabled, young, dolLHoUse.

The story categorizes anomalies based on their threat levels:

    - Level 0: Negligible, minor anomalies, manageable by ordinary humans.
    - Level 1: Village Class, dangerous to villages and combat specialists.
    - Level 2: Polis Class, city-destroying, difficult to subdue.
    - Level 3: Continent Class, capable of global destruction, challenging for the regressor.
    - Level 4: Ocean Class, regional devastation, harder to control than Continent Class.
    - Level 5: Outer God Class, unimaginable power, such as the Fairy King.

Corrupted Awakeners, who eventually pose a grave threat, emerge later in the story, with specific examples like the Executioner and Illustrator.

Overall, this novel is a thought-provoking exploration of storytelling and the cyclical nature of existence, offering a captivating reading experience.

Tragic, profound, and intricate, this narrative revolves around a character named Undertaker, not just any ordinary regressor. With the author, renowned for their acclaimed previous work, they bring a unique twist to the regression theme, offering a captivating reading experience. The story unfolds in a meticulously crafted world, rich with backstory and complex characters, leaving readers eager for answers and insights into Undertaker's life.

The tale follows Undertaker's triumphs, challenges, and setbacks, intertwined with the lives of those around him. What stands out is the message that the journey itself – filled with progress and setbacks – holds equal importance to the final destination. Despite its slow start, the mysterious plot and gradual revelations make for a compelling read, particularly for those who appreciate a well-paced buildup and satisfying payoffs.

For fans of multi-layered narratives, branching storylines, and intricate plot structures that span numerous beginnings and endings, this story is a perfect fit. While it may require patience and persistence to fully appreciate, those who dive in will find themselves rewarded with a rich, emotionally resonant experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this novel, easily deserving a solid 4 or 5 stars according to NovelUpdates' rating system.

I must admit that this novel stands out as one of the most distinctive reads I've encountered. It revolves around an undertaker, whose encounters with a diverse array of individuals and extraordinary creatures – essentially, monsters from another realm – are filled with absurdity and whimsy. The narrative is non-linear, yet it skillfully develops both the characters and the world through the protagonist's recurring cycles of regression. Each chapter is entertaining and keeps you engaged, but every now and then, it delivers a deeply poignant and emotionally charged episode that leaves a lasting impact.

This novel stands out as a true masterpiece within its regressive genre.
