I think it’s common for anyone to get tired of the reality of just working all the time once the fun student life is over. While envying those who have the luxury to enjoy romance, I spend my days repeating the cycle of taking a bath, drinking, eating, and sleeping once work is done. It’s normal to sometimes wonder why I’m just constantly being scolded and can’t muster any motivation for this kind of life.
That’s the kind of life I’ve been living, and what caught my eye was a commercial for a new VRMMO game. It’s a capsule type, with the basic physical abilities as the foundation, and it’s cutting-edge with all five senses, so much so that the price almost wipes out my savings.
However, the rare items I could acquire can be converted into real money, so I quit my job decisively and went ahead to purchase the main unit, pouring almost all my savings into it. I think my decision at that time wasn’t wrong, yeah.
But still… Why am I so famous?
