An unknown virus spreads across the nation. People infected by the virus turn into zombies—completely reduced to walking corpses. Sixty percent of the global population becomes zombified. The climate changes drastically, the environment is devastated, and natural disasters occur continuously. The surviving animals and plants also mutate.
The remaining humans build secure bases, erecting high walls to keep zombies and mutated monsters out.
…
After surviving seven years in the apocalypse, Su Yun finally obtains a quota to enter a safe base. However, during genetic testing, she is found to be infected with the zombie virus.
Stepmother: “Although you’re infected, the quota can’t be voided. Why not let your younger sister take it?”
Biological father: “While you still have consciousness, transfer the quota to your sister.”
Su Yun, always vigilant and cautious—even while fighting zombies—has never been scratched or bitten. If she can be infected with the virus, it can only be because someone close to her deliberately targeted her.
When she fully zombifies, Su Yun uses the safe base quota as bait, luring her worthless father, stepmother, and sister into her apartment and biting them all to death.
Unexpectedly, when she opens her eyes, she’s back on the seventh day of the zombie outbreak.
