In a world where one's "Life Flame" determines power and destiny, Fen Jin was once a prodigy with a rare Nine-Grade Life Flame. After a disastrous expedition, his flame shattered, leaving him powerless and abandoned by his family. Labeled a "waste," he was cast aside by those who once admired him.

However, during a routine test, Fen Jin discovers a mysterious black flame within his soul—the "Netherworld Ember," a forbidden flame born from death. While it consumes his Life Flame and cannot be cultivated in the usual way, it holds the secret of rebirth.

With nothing left to lose, Fen Jin decides to embrace this forbidden power and fight back against his fate, seeking to reclaim his strength and defy the destiny that was forced upon him.

This is a great read.  sadly the ending is quite lackluster.  I wonder how experienced the author was at the time this was penned.  Most young authors get to the end and the story is done...abruptly.  Leaves you wondering about the Mac's first girlfriend, his sister's pregnancy, his parents...etc.  This story has tens of chapters left unwritten.  Maybe one day the author will revisit this work and maybe write a sequel.  Overall it is worth reading imo.

It's about a fat MC that ogles at females and can't keep his hands to himself. He apparently saves some girl in the freaking 2nd chapter. So much for plot development.

Just gonna leave this here for the few who I've noticed having trouble following some aspects of the series. Following this, you will notice that MC, does not seem to have certain 'knowledge' of the future despite the so-called 'going back twice' and 'starting' over. All of this is for a reason, and I will say it here, it won't be answered anytime soon, so you will have to either try and read through the various clues I will post in my chapters and piece together the puzzle over time. Or wait until the story has arrived at that point, I can guarantee that the plot this will be interesting at the very least :)I am a person that does not like to put too many unnecessary words in my chapters, so most times, if people are talking or an important character is saying something it will hold some type of key information or meaning to give context about something, world-building, or a secret. I like giving my readers stuff to ponder over and not spoon-feed them, that way it can create more engagement with the story and readers rather than me saying, 'Bam and that happens because he gives him that spoon which was so obvious in that scene, but I am saying it again because I believe NO ONE ELSE could have noticed it, right?' - this right here that I see many authors doing is no different from treating your readers like children as if they can't figure things out on their own.Another, though the MC has only some 'memories' of a 'certain' life in the following chapters. It is natural as he is but only a human, no human is going to remember what you ate for breakfast 10 years ago, said to your father on this day 10 years or did for the entire day. With that said have a happy reading guy, story, although is apocalypse biased, has heavy mystery elements and action, just a word of warning to those who don't like either of those things.

This novel is a pretty decent read but there are some aspects that really bothered me. 1) The dialogue. Listening to kindergarteners and elementary school kids interact would be more interesting than the social interaction in this novel. It's severely lacking in flow and feels very "basic" as another review said. 2) The MC himself. His decisions felt so frustratingly dumb, you'd wonder how the guy is a grown adult. His combat master almost died because MC wasted time asking questions when he was instructed to run away. They had just finished struggling to defeat one wolf and the rest of the pack was coming and MC was asking dumb questions like "Isn't it just some wolves? Why do we have to run?" They only survived from luck. Another time, during the tournament, after catching the enemy who had been shooting at him, he threw the guy away instead of finishing him off. This was during a battle Royale, mind you.In regards to the grammar, I have no complaints and the plot itself looks interesting. Just these two things made the novel difficult to read for me.

People are going to say my taste for webnovel are bad... But idc I enjoy these type of novels but not just these. Maybe there are repetitive lines or plots or cliques but they are satisfying and anyone can enjoy just passing some time reading this.

A very good story and amazing updating frequency (though it has started decreasing a little) but somewhat short chapters... However so long as it doesn't go on hiatus... It possesses the potential of being a hit
