The usual shameless review from the author :))))))))))))Welcome to my novel! I have prepared a lot for this novel here. I believe I kept working on it for four months already. I just had a few ideas to upgrade a game, League of legends if you know it, and decided to write a novel and implement these ideas there. Here you will find an interesting story about a young gamer who was pro and turned down by his team, going to the states and starting over at a new game. A cliché it might seem indeed, and I can't say anything against this. But I didn't focus entirely over making it all original to be frank. The setting might be cliché but it's suitable for the novel I'm writing, and I love this setting so much so it's cool for me.The things I wanted to introduce here are just few upgrades at the hardware of games, the way of playing the game, and how it can evolve to match the upcoming technology in the near future... All under a good novel that anyone can enjoy reading for sure. It's not a VR game novel, as fully developed massive VR games won't appear in our world this soon anyway. This novel here is just a step that can bring us closer from the upcoming VR world of gaming. What do you expect here?1. Good novel in game concept, writing quality, steady and good rate update. The update rate is one to two chaps per day, with chaps over 2k words in general.2. Good characters, fleshed out to be like any real gamer you might know, perhaps even yourself :D.3. Good character development.4. Lots of fun and adventures.5. A romance is there indeed, a struggle of two lovers to be together is the backbone of this novel.6. It has harem - Not a big one - but the MC is someone who can't say no to a beauty.7. The novel is a mix between the real life and gaming life. Even the early 30 chaps will focus over the real life issues and how the mc will handle them. So you can consider it to be a slice of life novel + gaming novel.8. I can't say the MC is OP. He is just someone with great talent and skill that will make up look OP especially when surrounded with normal and common gamers.I hope you like my novel, and I'm open for any suggestions. If you see anything wrong, please tell me about it and I'll take your point into my consideration for sure.Enjoy and have fun :))))))))

Parasyte System is an enjoyable albeit flawed power fantasy. Let me briefly unpack that. I have now read every chapter currently available on Webnovel, and I have to say, this is a mixed bag. I'll start with the good. The story is interesting. The backstory of the proliferation, The three classes and their different attributes is intriguing. The characters are charming. There is a lot to enjoy about this Webnovel. If the story ended here, I'd have no problem strongly recommending this story to anyone who crosses my path. Unfortunately, the story doesn't end here. There is a myriad of problems with this Webnovel. I'll now unpack the most egregious.Giving some credit where its due, for a non-native to the English language, the author is very promising. I've seen webnovels on this platform written by native English speakers done worse. That isn't to say this is done well. The biggest gaffes of this work isn't even related to the English language, but rather writing conventions. I'll start with the most unforgivable. The author begins the story writing in the first-person perspective. A few chapters down the line, the author moves into the third-person perspective. I understand the reason. Worldbuilding is difficult in the first-person. It isn't impossible, but it is difficult. The author made the choice to break free from the perspective he chose in order to easier tell a bigger story. The issue is, he never went back to change the first few chapters into the third-person. Chapters after the impromptu change, I was still unsure as to what was happening, who was narrating, who exactly we were meant to be following. I did eventually key onto the change in POV, however, were I not internally compelled to carry on, I would have dropped this webnovel immediately. It's not an easy fix, but it is a necessary one. The first few chapters really need to be changed to reflect the authors chosen POV. The next big issue, not fatal like the one above, but still bad, is the author's maddening choice to constantly repeat information that has just been provided, A character will say something, conveying information to the reader, the author will then repeat the information provided in dialogue in the narration. Why do this? It baffles me. It really detracts from the work, Breaking away from this convention is a small change that would radically improve this work. Another issue is that there is a lot of telling and little to no showing. Emotions are not conveyed through the use of creative writing, the reader is just told what the characters are feeling. This isn't as much of a problem as the two issues stated above, however, fixing it would really improve this webnovel.I'm certain that there are more issues with this webnovel, but that isn't to say that it's not an enjoyable read. Parasyte System is a diamond in a lot of rough. It would blind in its brilliance, but only if the author is willing to really polish.

I thought I wouldn't like the novel, but I guess wrongly. Though, it was mostly the title that led me to the guess. If I wasn't bored, I would probably skip this novel. Thankfully, I didn't.

This is absolutely a gem. A kickass female MC who isn't tied down by romance. I love the other novels with female MCs but no matter how talented the female lead is, she is always inferior to her counter part - be it in wealth, nobility, popularity or skills. In this novel, our MC is the man. She doesn't take any bs and is on equal footing (or even higher) than her peers. Granted other MCs are like this too but atleast she doesn't have a shadow guardian ("the male lead") that makes her problems go away if shw cant handle it. Other than the great plot, amazing translation quality!

On the Hotel's room, you could feel a powerful killing intent rising and a scary faced  7 years old standing near the window. That child is Alex while the Women outside is naturedly Amina .
