Chris Zayden, a wealthy CEO with a dangerous past, becomes obsessed with Hema, a kind and hardworking Indian woman who works for his company. What starts as love quickly turns into a deadly game of secrets and revenge . Hema hides a painful truth about Chris, while his dark obsession pushes them both to their limits.
As betrayal and anger take over, their lives spiral out of control. Will they destroy each other, or will love find a way to survive in the midst of all the chaos? A gripping tale of love, revenge, and redemption.
Hema,
“I thought I was ending a nightmare, but instead, I created a demon. Chris Zayden was already a monster—cold, ruthless, and terrifying. But when I made the choice to take everything from him, I didn’t realize I wasn’t just destroying him; I was remaking him. Every scream, every tear, every ounce of pain he inflicted on me after that was my own doing. I turned the monster into something worse—an unstoppable evil fueled by vengeance and obsession. And now, I’m trapped in the hell I built with my own hands.”

[As of Chapter 213]- World Background -Expect a lot of geography, locations, factions, and history. The author has made a particularly vast world which you can feel from the descriptions, and interesting phenomena sculpt the various locations.- Story Development - Sometimes slow, sometimes fast, the author has a balance. There is a system to the development of the MC that makes sense. Sometimes it is luck and fortune that helps the MC, sometimes he advances through bloodshed and great battles by experimentation. The wars involving countless cultivators could be written better.- Character Design - The author has variety in character writing. The problem is that there are too many characters being constantly introduced and forgotten. The character flow cuts the potential of some characters short, such that the reader is only stuck with the MC when it comes to attachment or eagerness to see certain character interactions potentially happen and develop.-!!! Translation Quality !!!- Readers beware: Write a glossary (names list) as you read the novel. The weakness of this novel. I gave it 3 stars only because the English is good and understandable, ignoring a few spelling and grammar mistakes that happen rarely enough.I don't know the accuracy of Chinese-->English as i'm not a Chinese speaker, so i can't state anything here. The big problems are naming standardization and a lack of an official glossary for the readers. The longer a novel updates without the editing staff having a joint glossary, the more time will be wasted on fixing a novel, just like a long-term disease, the more unwilling the staff will become to fix the novel. The character names, location names, and other names, are all over the place, as in, some names have multiple variations with the translation constantly shifting between them, not being able to settle for a single name for good for the same thing. The readers are then thrown into confusion, or unable to google search certain names when they need to recollect who or what they are (because the name is differently written in that earlier chapter).Big problem for readers who follow and read more than 30-40 novels. The Translators are off the hook, because this is solely on the Editors to do.Some of the examples are (and this is a tiny list because i don't want to do the work of the editors for them):- White Mystery Nation/White Wonder Nation- Wild Goose Falling River/Falling Crane River- Natural Moat Gorge/River Sky Canyon- Sky Serpent Nation/Sky Snake Nation- Heavenly Wind Country/Windy Nation- Sea of Soul Realm/Spirit Ocean Realm- Yuan Hengkong/Yuanheng Kong- Yin Wuqing/Leng Wuqing - Qiu Ruodan (Color Sword)/Qiu Ruotong- Song Qingyun/Shen Lang (Blue Clouds)- Fei Wushuang/Zhuang Fei (Emerald Childe)- Liu Wuxiang/Liu Waxiang/Liu Xuxiang (Palm Termination)/(Broke Palm)Each line above is one character or location or faction or other, with different names. You can imagine what kinds of problems this brings to the readers, or can bring to them. All in all, the novel needs some serious re-editing for translation quality to go anywhere beyond 3 deserved stars.0 0 Reply

If you like VRMMORPG novels, make sure to check this one out. In this novel the main character visits all sorts of different scenarios, each one has its own tale to tell and an interesting mystery to unravel. This makes each arc fresh and exciting, and allows the book to move away from a standard wow clone.I don't really like the description, the description makes it sound like the novel is a dystopian survival novel, when its more like an exploring multiple words one.0 0 Reply

I have to praise the author since he pulled me into a high fantasy world where the magic system is interesting. It was slow pace at start then later it picked up on the rhythm.I also like the quotes at the beginning of the chapters. There were just minor grammatical errors such as missing periods, and comma were being used instead of period. But thi can be fixed later on. Keep up the good work!0 0 Reply

l am loving this book. great that that character is improving so quickly yet not becoming a creep because of it. I really like the magic mixed in with the cooking. although I am an American and there's very little of the food that he describes that I would actually eat because here in the states we're spoiled and we aren't creative and we don't eat all parts of animals. I know it's my loss. I would probably try something if I didn't know what it was or didn't recognize it. but if I did know. I wouldn't eat it. of course except the rice and the sweet and sour pork and the green tea. so many girls in his restaurant I wonder who's going to become his female interest. so many of them are starting to look in his direction.0 0 Reply
