It has been 20 years since the portals arrived on Earth and society adjusted to them long ago. James is an E rank mother struggling to pay for his mother's hospital bills. Just days later he is suddenly transferred to another world with all of the hunters in North America and some weird Chinese people. With nothing but the tools they see on the ground they must build a new civilisation and survive.

Liu is a mortal realm cultivator and the 8th son of a powerful martial family. All but lost in the battle to inherit the clan he decides to find a quiet lace to cultivate. Finding a mysterious jade tablet he begins his journey to becoming the greatest cultivator of all time. Suddenly he is transported to another world where he sees people with strange weapons and clothes and without a single Daoist among them. Distrustful of these weird people, his clan and the other great cultivation families withdraw into the forest, aiming to reestablish society and form the new Great Clans.

Unfortunately the system will not allow the two sides to live in peace as it pits them against each other time and again.

    I liked the story if it weren't for the sister thing then I'd probably check it out on Patreon. wish you luck but nope the taboo put me off this. the MC's ideas and how attitude besides the taboo is something I like plus his "character" traits.

    The way the author write is kinda unique, using himself as a narrator and describing the situation work. But it's confusing on it's own, the way the author use punctuation is a mess. And too much "tell" that make it bland.But the story was good, the concept of revenge are neatly arranged with nerdy past of mc.Overall, it's decent to read.

    My current situation is more secure than those shut-ins, as such all of the kid's thoughts are blocked for now and also senses, from me that is, as I learnt how to use some of the orb's powers myself, I will know once we leave this place or when the danger is gone.
