Its started out good but it ended really messy, the concept of magic towards the end is gone, his cheat has been thrown out too, he created new storyline and ended it abruptly. Clearly I was disappoint how it ended.

How is the state of this serie?
I really loved it at my first read but sadly we were not getting full chapters in the last few chapters I read.
I also left it to "stack & fix" and I have no idea if it got new chapters at a decent rythm or not.

Should I come back to it in 5 years or right now ?

i remember reading the manhwa, loving it and trying to find the novel a year or two before, found it, and it was so confusing i gave up after like 1/4 of a chapter. I'm quite hesitant to read it

I read the first chapter and was instantly captivated by the characters. As the story progressed, it just kept getting better and better. By chapter 8, I couldn't stop myself from continuing to read this masterpiece until the very end.

Fire candy is a type of drug used by kids in the future. Some of these kids were abandoned because they were 'half' beings—humans created by genetically combining human and animal DNA. These kids began forming rollerblade teams and would challenge each other just for fun. The challenges involved all sorts of fights between team members. As 'half' beings, they often 'snap' and lose control, their instincts to fight becoming animalistic. They used fire candy as an escape from their everyday troubles. With their supply of fire candy dwindling, these kids, led by a maniacal leader named Ryoki, decided to confront the person responsible for supplying the drug. Hardship and loss of life followed.

It really highlights how drugs are undeniably a source of misery.

The story had me gripped tightly. It was intense. I effing loved it.

Now if only they could finish it...

The summary wasn't very appealing, but I was in the mood to read anything. The first few pages completely confused me, but by chapter 2, I started to get a better understanding.

It's a bit violent, which might be why I couldn't stop reading—lol. The relationship between Ryoki and Leo is really cute, though I do wish the manga had developed the character relationships more deeply.

I hope the story could have been longer and that someone would adapt it into an anime someday.

    10/10, absolutely loved it!

So far in my life, Fire Candy is the best manga I've ever read. Seriously. The artwork is incredibly captivating; every expression conveys a very clear sense of the characters' emotions, which guides how it should be interpreted.

The only downside is that it was a bit confusing at the start; there were many jumps back and forth in the narrative, but the rest of the story compensates for this, and everything becomes clear afterward.

It's so similar to reality yet brilliantly blended with science fiction. Fire Candy has truly stuck in my mind, filled with great quotes, remarkable characters, and stunning illustrations.

    Anyway, one word: Awesomeness.

When I initially came across the summary of this manga, it didn't intrigue me in the slightest. However, upon diving into the actual manga, I found myself completely hooked. It's an insane narrative about children trapped in a corrupt world, grappling with discrimination, lethal drugs, gang warfare, and much more. It's astonishing how dark this manga is, yet simultaneously invigorating. The challenges the characters endure, along with their values and perspectives on life, are truly remarkable.

Although the summary mentioned that Fire Candy revolves around kids who are "halves," I never perceived them as anything other than regular children. Beneath all the grim actions they take, they seemed normal to me, despite their distinct genetic makeup. Their tough lives were shaped by the circumstances of their birth, and this book vividly portrays all the hardships and grime they had to endure. It's twisted, profound, dark, chaotic, and I absolutely adore it.

The artwork is exceptionally unique to me. While the cover (profile picture) was decent, delving into the book reveals the true brilliance of the art. The characters are all visually appealing, some scenes appear strikingly realistic, and overall, it's a visual treat.

The characters are all extraordinary and captivating. You can sense the darkness in their pasts, which genuinely leaves me disheartened by all they've faced in life. Yet, despite everything, they seem like cheerful children—distorted but content. The manga showcases them as part of a teenage gang. They all appear delighted to live and fight alongside their friends, and it's awe-inspiring to witness their joy in life, defying the unwarranted discrimination from those overly critical individuals.

Primarily, the manga is centered around the teenage gang lifestyle. It offers glimpses of their childhood but predominantly focuses on this unique teenage gang battling against other gangs and similar events.

I thoroughly enjoyed the manga and sincerely hope others find it equally delightful!<p>
