Bound To The Vampire King

Everything that Lucian previously enjoyed has been replaced by blood and death over time. He ponders if every morning will be the day he gives in to the vicious side of his vampire nature. Kara has never left the confines of her house since she is a natural hunter. She doesn't like her life, but she has long accepted it, just as she has come to terms with her upcoming marriage to the man the elders have chosen for her. Kara is determined to tear down the bars that have held her imprisoned, however, when a vampire kills her father. Kara finds herself in the realm of the vampires she was trained to despise after being assaulted by the creature who murdered her father and saved by Lucian. She still has her doubts about Lucian, but the more time she spends with him, the stronger her emotions for him become, to the point that she starts to doubt the hunter's way of life. She must now choose between wanting retribution, Lucian, or the illusive independence she has at last attained.
