A great sports novel that mixes system elements with realism. The main character isn't the only person you find yourself rooting for. the side characters are all likeable and multidimensional. There isn't people trying to suppress the main character for no reason like in a lot of system novels(yet). The author introduces unique problems to challenge the MC while still making him strong. Only downside about the novel is that chapters aren't released very fast.
LoL what happened to the ending? why did it feel like the translator just decided to summarized the later parts but terribly done, just to end the story.the story still have so many things that need to clear up like reviveng zhu yuheng soul, meeting up with ji qinghuan, about the xia universe uniqueness, his best friend chen fan, the battle robed uncle that was left behind, meeting his mother and so much more.Why did it have to end like that, a good story ruined by the unexpectedly failed summarized ending.
It was a 4 star but then the Author brought the most unnecessary cringe trash Character that his small Chinese brain (if he has a? )would ever think of
I love your writing, especially on the prologue, it captivated the readers to visualize it like a scene in a movie. And it goes to the next chapters as well. I can see, hear, and taste each scenes as you write it. You are very good at this one. Good job author!
I think this novel is a hidden gem and i hope this novel can be regular.. if you read first ten chapter you will know this novel have a unique plot than others novel out there. Highly recommended..
This had a good start, but it's been going downhill lately. I don't mind slow-paced novels but everything in this novel has grinded to a halt. Every mission is a fruitless endeavor leading nowhere. Every chapter has a barrage of pointless questions that rarely get answered. The last couple chapters had over 50 questions each. (Never counted them before.) Questions like " What? How? What's going on? W-Why? why? why? why? Why you get nervous man?" Kairen: I-I don't...I don't k-know?.. The protagonist also stutters a lot. If you've ever been around someone who asked a million questions and enjoyed the experience, this novel is definitely for you.There's still hope if the author gets back on track. I would suggest taking some time off to flesh out the story and character development. Releasing a couple quality chapters per week would be better than this type of filler.
