Blood, Betrayal & Forbidden Love

Disclaimer: I have enjoyed this story and like the premise but this is a complaining review. I still highly recommend giving this a try. These are just the problems I think exist and they haven't stopped me from continuing to read this. As I read this I come across a few critiques/personal opinions.1. The human race is said to be spaceworthy and traveling to other planets, conquering or making alliances with other races. Yet throughout the story the scale never really feels like that is the case. It consistently feels like the only people in existence are the characters introduced 'on screen'. Ex. He is on a world where the race is said to have been in control of the entire planet and yet I never felt like there were more than a few dozen people living there. Most of the story takes place in training camps that barely seem to have any people. 2. His relationship with the alien woman, Liiza, has come to dominate at least half of the story and is tiring at this point to read about. It was interesting at first but now it is just repetitive. The story stopped being about the MC getting stronger and traveling the universe to find his enemy and now it's all about how he will do anything for his relationship. The relationship that multiple times in the story has been said to be 'toxic'.3. I've noticed this in many stories. When an author wants to make his MC seem smarter or better they will make their superiors dumber or incompetent to lend credence to the MC. This happens here with the MC's military command. Someone in command should not be so flustered or easily persuaded by a teenage boy. Even if the said teenage boy has 'magical alien trauma' giving him OP powers and plot armor.

Excellent story in my opinion mc was quite depressed at the start but in the story he gets what he wants, his wish was kind of stupid but without it this novel wouldn't be so great

I've read some parts of the Novel and the synopsis seems like it takes aspects of many nonhuman novels and it's pretty safe to say with it having a demon king creation system he will eventually end up becoming powerful person now I'll just join the journey as rome was not built in a day a powerful person is also considered in that category you can find out for yourself if you like this novel bye seniors and juniors

One of the best game stories in webnovel that gives me the SAO vibe. It was beautifully written with several layers of mystery that made me keep guessing and ask for more.It's written by a talented young author who really did her best to write, find an editor, commission cover, etc. Let's support this author and hope for the best. It’s a solid story and definitely an entertaining read, I think one of my favorite parts of the story is mainly the plot. I love the world characters, definitely worth reading.

RUC tells the story of Hao Ren, an everyday good guy living in China. One day, he decides to rent out the rooms in his apartment for some extra income. When his ad gets answered, he finds that his tenants are more than what they appear to be.     The translation quality is satisfactory and the use of English is fairly good. However, this I believe will continue to be improved on for a better reading experience. Chapters are also released regularly every week. The current rate is at 11 chapters and this may increase in the future.     RUC's plot develops at a steady pace; not too fast and not too slow. New characters are introduced during key points of the story so it's easy to follow. The premise is similar to many fantasy/adventure anime's where the protagonist happens along new comrades as he gets himself involved in various scenarios. Think One Piece but instead of pirates, you have your classic monsters, creatures and cryptids of all sorts. Sometimes, when reading a Chinese novel, you may find an issue where the author tends to repeat certain details again and again throughout the story. This rarely happens in this narrative.    As for its characters, they are pretty common when it comes to the fantasy genre. There's the standard vampire, werewolf, demons and etc. However what sets them apart are their weird quirks and personalities. This adds to the humour in the story. It'll be interesting to see how the ensemble of characters continue to grow and what unusual creature will be added next.      No fantasy novel is incomplete without its own world or world's in this case. The characters' adventures take them to various places on Earth and also out of Earth. Here we can see them travel into what looks like outer space. This gives it a Star-Trek like vibe so you have a mash of fantasy and sci-fi at some points of the story. It's an odd combination. On one hand you're dealing with creatures from the Victorian Era or even older and on the other, you're dealing with beings of supposedly higher order, which seem very similar to aliens. Readers will either like how different it is or find it absurd. One will have to read the novel to truly decide.
