Well-written novel. A welcome change from the 'average' xianxia novel. Has all the pro's of Japanese novels with none of the cons (strange MC thought process with crazy harem). MC's character is deep and realistic, and the other characters aren't 1-D characters either. Even if you aren't into romance, I recommend giving the novel a spin, as there is a 'cultivation' aspect in this world, and there is more action in the later chapters!0 0 Reply

Wow this guy is a moron. Becomes a Baron from a nobody in 10 days. Goes outside. Simpathises with humans on the street who are blood packs and vows to make their situation better. Runs into two fleeing human women and kills pursuing lackeys of a Marquis for stangers. Leaves bodies on the street for proof. Now on the run and leaves more bodies and lets one escape just to harvest fangs which are worth some money. What a fking dumbass. All in 10 Chapters. If you read this for its tags, prepare to get roasted. This book is a parody of web novel cliches, and I've been laughing as much as I'm questioning my taste in books. The mc is intelligent at the start for once, which is nice as well. However... he also makes poor decisions imo. At least they're thought out. We'll see who's right as the story progresses0 0 Reply
