For some, a devil that emerged with the purpose of causing chaos throughout the world, for others, a benevolent god who gives all his followers the chance to ascend to the heavens through sacrifices.

Appearing in an unknown manner and surrounded by countless mysteries, a peculiar group has its existence spread as rumors everywhere, said to have followers in all places who faithfully follow the God of Death himself.

"Talent? Wealth? Status? None of that matters before the one who walks with death as his companion..."

This is the story of Long Shen, the orphaned disciple of a small sect who, after being kidnapped and thrown into a mysterious pit, found, in what should have been his end, his new beginning, paving the way to becoming a supreme and true God of Death in the vast martial world.
