World of Tomorrow

Evelyn Moore is a young woman struggling to make ends meet in Depression-era New York City, relying on the unwavering support of her dear friend Lily. As fate would have it, a series of unexpected events, like a roller coaster ride, threatens to derail her life just weeks before the highly anticipated 1939 World's Fair. Faced with uncertainty, Evelyn wonders if she'll be able to survive, especially when she discovers a pattern in her near misses, which seem to be orchestrated by her enigmatic new boss, Andrew James. Andrew, a composed genius behind much of his family's and company's triumphs, is skilled at manipulating situations to his advantage. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when Evelyn, a delightful surprise, enters it. She challenges him to step out of his comfort zone and explore a captivating, previously unseen world - a glimpse of what the future might hold, a world of promise and excitement, known as "The World of Tomorrow."
