Grasping Evil is that one novel that i always go back to. I have been following this book for a year since liberspark to veratales. Satisfied with the translation team. Props for them to deliver all the time. I hope that both the raw and the translation will be able reach satisfactory ending.Well someday, at least.Just read it.

Not your cup of tea if you just want to relax and enjoy simple daily chapters. Different from stereotypical web novels that always repeats the same cliches. While intelligent MCs aren’t that rare anymore. This novel is one of the few that manages to have a large part of the story dedicated to the MC’s thinking while keeping it simple to understand, and still draw readers in. The MC isn’t a super intelligent genius who can figure out an enemy’s entire life story just from a single glance. The MC’s more of a regular person, who slowly acquired various skills while doing his best to stay alive in a crime infested city. He does his best with what he has.Only issue I have is the occasional translation mistake. Like the monster that’s a giant mouth with legs, which is a grinner. Being renamed to “joker” for an entire chapter for no reason.

I will say just three things- 1- The MC is just perfect. Clever, ruthless and intelligent. I was fed up with those wuss MCs who are too naïve but here the MC is on a whole other level.2- The way author introduces characters is awesome. I loved it.3- Not too much cultivation BS, this is the best short and simple.Lemme read more chaps.

I love this book.Can't wait to see how it ends.
