A young woman's passion seemed genuine at first, as she relentlessly pursued her desires. Despite facing ridicule from friends and society, she remained steadfast in her pursuit of what she believed was true love. Intrigued by this concept, I often pondered its depths, yet struggled to comprehend her motives. One fateful night, she made a surprising proposal. Her heart raced with a mix of anticipation and anxiety, her breath warm against my skin. In the quiet darkness of the room, under dim lighting, she ventured into uncharted territory by suggesting we give it a try. Yet, I, a novice, held onto my principles, despite the community's assumptions about her innocence. As she spoke, a mysterious emotion stirred within me. Was this a test, or was she being sincere? We had always agreed to remain chaste until marriage, so her suggestion left me questioning our intentions. I pushed aside those thoughts, grappling with the unfamiliar task of pleasing a woman if she was indeed serious. My lack of experience weighed heavily on me. "Did you hear me?" she queried, capturing my attention with a gentle kiss on my cheek. The man within me couldn't help but respond, but just as desire ignited, memories of Grandma's prophecy surfaced. Would our paths truly lead to marriage? The question lingered in my mind, even as I found myself lost in the moment. I hope you enjoy this tale of love, temptation, and the complexities of relationships.

Of course, the beginning smelled like it would be a generic OP protagonist story, but the later chapters do a very good job of keeping the OPness and still making the story interesting.
There was a Lovecraftian flair to the whole concept, but the "corrupted information leading to brain explosion" cliche didn't appear here, so I'm very happy. World building is top-notch, battle scenes are nicely done, each of the nine faiths/Gods are well thought out and have a deep backstory behind them. Plus, I hate Chinese cultivation novels with repeated young master annoyances, so this was the only great novel among the recent additions (including the English originals), so I'm giving it a full 5-stars after comparing its competitors.
