Massive spoiler from a comment below from 3 years ago so be warned scrolling down. But don't hesitate and just give this novel a read if you enjoyed the author's other works like Ending Maker.

The first 80 ish chapters are a nice slow paced slice of life like Xianxia comedy with some serious story arcs mixed in and if it continued like that for the full thing I would have loved this short little novel. Sadly it didn't, while I enjoyed the first half the second half wasn't nearly as enjoyable and mostly abandoned what was set up in the first half for an adventure story alongside a clear love interest with a bunch of suddenly appearing plots that don't make much sense considering the first 80 chapters.In the end, the start of the story is great fun but after nearly a hundred chapters the fire nation attacks and what follows is another good story to some degree that is connected almost entirely in just names to the first. It's such a shame, I enjoyed it so much that the sudden change was enough for me to make an account and comment (Spoiler for the start of LIBRARY OF HEAVEN'S PATH main story's twist   something I didn't even do when a novel strung readers along for a good couple hundred chapters believing one girl was the main characters love interest only for the love interest to show up the wedding and curse him out, bro that shook for days it was so well done or out of left field  it was a fantastic twist), truthfully it feels like there's somehow a thousand missing chapters in the span of a in story 3 day timeline. I don't even hate the ending just the fact that the story abandoned it's own set up logic, arcs and system to rush into an adventure story fuelled on a boner which sure is more a reason than what some stories give but it could've been done better.

I can only face-palm. Maybe I'm used to read novels that their schemes are clever and done things in the dark hence whenever Tang Shishi moves I cringed. Even I was there, I can see and read all her tricks under her sleeves; she's way too obvious.Although warned multiple times, she still thinks she's smarter and pay no heed to advice she recieved. She really acts like a little side villain who can be disposed of if one wished to. I understand her actions and motives and the fact that she's not exposed to complicated schemes, her methods are considered mediocre yet surprisingly effective but obvious.I hope she improve herself.

Gosh, I smell something is gonna come up. Hearing that the little miss had an explosive temper. Her chemistry with the MC is gonna be...interestingGreat novel so far. Ive had a lot of moments when I almost lost my breath from laughing lol
