Mature Warning: Gore
A few hundred years has passed since the Demon Lord died, and no heir has been found, the first time ever since the Demons came into existence. After all, who doesn't love power?
Ezoki, a lazy, low-class demon at the bottom of the demon hierarchy, and barely above the rank of a slave, is surprisingly happy with his pitiful life. And like the others, he knows nothing of the predicament with the succession. When the war with the humans looms closer Ezoki uncovers the truth, but can he, and will he, act before everything he knows and loves is destroyed?
(Note: This is a short story as it follows this one plot that I have mapped out. After the story ends I plan to occasionally write some mini offshoots of the original story. Small adventures of some of the characters, and what happens after the story ended. Voting and Commenting does help me get motivation to write, thanks in advance to anyone who reads this!)
