Prague also continued, "A lot of professors got the same invitation like us but it seems Baron John had only written that letter to us as he was quite interested in your theory of teaching and need for reduced taxes. However, I don't know and can't confirm the personal letter for professor Hague."
It worked better for him that way, though. He didn't need any attention until he could gain some type of backing. He would have to repeat those tests once he entered military school, but he could wait. And by then, he would be protected by the military, if only slightly.

Of course, on that one of an occasion his lies expose, he got chase away without receiving a payment, but well, that was to be expected.
I like the story, so far, it reminds me of "Slave Harem in the Labyrinth of the Other World" without the isekai. The only issue I have so far is the use of classes, they seem pointless, but the acquisition of some, so far, pointless skills.

I enjoyed the connection between the main characters. The slow-burn romance and those small, heartfelt moments made their relationship feel so real. The author did an amazing job balancing the struggles and the sweet moments, making the story so engaging. Definitely one of my favorite BL reads. Would love to read more of this kind of genre.
